The Year Of The Fox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 There are only 3 I can put forward as goals of the season (for seeing them live) Drinky- Watford (H) Mahrez- Blackpool (H) Wood- Burnley (A) Mine is now Wood's goal. It was a quality effort and given the magnitude of the game possibly the most important one too. Agree? Have I missed some belters somewhere? Edit Yeh and add to that list, King- Blackpool (A) I'd forgotten that.
Riyad_Suarez Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Wood Watford away for me. HAS to be voted goal of the season! On a serious note I still think Kings goal at Blackpool is technically the best, absolute thunderbolt.
Fox92 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I liked Matt James' v Watford (home). Not saying it's goal of the season, but he just seemed to guide the ball into the net in a form of a volley.
stb1996 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Knockaert vs derby in the cup? This is right up there for me
M0901 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 King vs Blackpool has got to be considered, his weaker foot also!
bluesbrothers Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 The amount of times throughout the season that we've been able to declare the entry books "closed" for goal of the season just goes to show the quality we have in this side. Both of yesterday's goals are worth a shout. Wood's may just do it for me.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Only criticism of Wood is that he should have hit it a bit higher so it hit the bar, bounced onto the line and then back up into the net
gerrytaggart Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Wood Watford away for me. Id agree with this...anyone can score with their feet!
SomalianFox15 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Got to be Wood's, although king vs Blackpool is up there.
foxfanazer Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I'd say Drinkwater against Watford was the most important of the three as it gave us a point from nowhere. Wood's goal was great but I think iy was technically a bit easier than Mahrez's and Drinkwater's. The ball sat up nicely amd he just needed to hit through it straight whereas Mahrez had to curl the ball away from the keeper. All stunning goals though. Vardy v QPR still m favourite. Oh and Nuge's goal yesterday wasn't too shabby either
LCFC1996 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Knocky's against Derby or Wood's yesterday personally, so many to choose from though
Jakemoore Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 King v Blackpool for me! Maybe I'm biased as he's always been my favourite player!
kingfox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Mahrez by a mile. Had to do work, and hit a beauty, King's and Drinkwater's goals were more straightforward.
Finnegan Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I'm ****ing disgusted that nobody is considering Kasper vs Yeovil. Comfortably the greatest header of all time.
Bert Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Mahrez by a mile. Had to do work, and hit a beauty, King's and Drinkwater's goals were more straightforward. I'm guessing you've perfected running onto a bouncing ball and smashing it in with your weaker foot then.... Don't get me wrong, Mahrez's (that player you told us not to get excited about) goal was absolute class but it's nowhere near being better than King's, Drinky's or Wood's "by a mile".
Xen Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I'm ****ing disgusted that nobody is considering Kasper vs Yeovil. Comfortably the greatest header of all time. I was gonna say this! Beat me to it
