JJS84 Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 Wouldn't wage demands be a problem with anyone from the Spurs squad? I'd like Kyle Naughton, surely his currently salary wouldn't be outside our supposed cap. also he would probably have more of a chance of getting game time with us than at spurs if there looking at taking offers for him.
Number 6 Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 To seemingly tick a few position boxes for us how about John O'Shea?
mowmacrefox Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 Steve Bruce may be powerless to stop a key duo leaving from leaving Hull. Ahmed Elmohamady could be heading to West Ham while Stephen Quinn is wanted by Leicester and Derby. The Star
Bryn Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 Martin Kelly going to Palace for £1.5m. Surely, SURELY we want in on that? We've got one right back and three fit centrebacks!
ATLFox Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 I'm in agreement with indierich06, Delort or Sakho would be better moves than Deeney. I pay a lot of attention to French football, and have contacts at Get French Football News. Going by what I've seen and been told about from both Delort and Sakho they'd be much better deals. We've already spent way too much on a Championship striker than he's worth (I'm not doubting his ability for one moment, I just don't think he's worth what we paid) so what's the point in going and spending almost £10mil on another? Nearly £20mil on two Championship strikers. And I can just see it if Deeney & Ulloa don't perform to the fans expectations (knowing City fans) they'll be calling for Pearson's head and complaining we've spent too much on "shit" players. Whereas targeting players like Delort and Sakho who won't demand £40k wages and we can pick up for around £2/£3mil, we're making more moves like Knockaert and Mahrez, and look how valuable to the team those guys are!
lgfualol Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 Martin Kelly going to Palace for £1.5m. Surely, SURELY we want in on that? We've got one right back and three fit centrebacks! Nah, it's okay. We have Wasyl that played RB ten years ago.
JJS84 Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 George friend looks like he might be available from boro, got to be worth a look at?
Stadt Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 Erm....where's the Cambiasso thread gone?To have a medical
terrybuck70 Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 erm is it the day of vanishing threads? now the estaban one has gone!
themotivator Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 seriously guys not funny i need to check esteban thread. where it go?
RedSoxUK Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 I heard Cambiasso is a realistic signing now we are up.
kingfox Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 As Upson is out injured, a few centre back suggestions. Nathan Ake or Sebastian Coates - Loan Gabriele Angella or Carlos Zambrano - Permanent
CosbehFox Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 You ever seen them play? Zambrano is a total nutcase liability. A lot of Chelsea fans are expecting Ake as back up lb.
kingfox Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 You ever seen them play? Zambrano is a total nutcase liability. A lot of Chelsea fans are expecting Ake as back up lb. Well Liverpool have been linked with Zambrano before. Ake well think Derby wanted him a couple weeks ago, they have Azpilicueta & Luis who can play Left-Back. Coates doesn't get much game time for Liverpool, Angella tall defender who proved himself last season that he is good in both boxes, we lack height in defence.
Soar Fox Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Rhys Williams from Middlesborough, can comfortably play in numerous positions.
Out Foxed Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 i want ake purely in the fact i read he played the other day. this is the first time i've ever heard of him and know zero about him apart from the fact he is an LB and plays for Chelsea.
MozeyCo Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Matty James' brother looksd great this pre-season, maybe manure will let him go cheap, or on loan; he plays left back
ATLFox Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Kurt Zouma on loan? might be a bit ambitious. And we definitely need another CB now Upson is out for 3 months LB - Timothée Kolodziejczak CAM/Creative midfielder - Valentin Eysseric
Jimmy Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Lee Wallace at Rangers is a quality left back we could get relatively cheap
Will1981 Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Kyle Naughton was great last time we had him, can play RB and LB and Spurs say he is available.
