Just a bit of fun really, Let's see this time next season who got it right and who got it wrong!

 

Personally think Big Nige will be a success for us next season, Obviously players have to play well for him to take credit, however I think he should be in with a vote based on tactics, substitutions Etc Etc.

He has come on leaps and bounds over the past few seasons, socially he's been a cut above last year, Tactically he's been fantastic, and although he's had a fantastic backroom staff behind him, and he will be the first to credit them, I think he single handedly has been the best manager we have had since MON and easily has the potential to be a better manager than MON, I think we have one of the most up and coming managers in the country on our hands.

 

For those reasons I'd rather have him Inside the tent spitting out, Than outside the tent spitting in.

 

I think he will be the most influencial person in our club next season as he was this season!

 

 

 

 

Some players on the list are assuming they get a contract.

De laet, for me. One of the only positions in not seeing that we need to add too. He is prem quality.

fancy mahrez to take the prem by storm. The sort of player fans will get out there seats for when he gets the ball.

 

I voted for mahrez but think schlupp could be another one who if playing regularly could look like a solid attacking left back

If we can find a Centre back with a bit more pace, (Which I think we will sign for cover) De Laet bombing forward (With knockaert or mahrez providing cover)

He could be very influencial! Not many Right backs as good at dribbling forward than De Laet IMO.. He's a better glen johnson

If Kasper stays then I think he'll have an impact, he's going to be busy and will need to make a lot saves.

Otherwise I've always thought James will make the step up and Schlupp could be a surprise packages if he develops at left back.

Having a top class, international quality defender will probably surprise a few teams in the prem complacent enough to underestimate the 'Beast' that we posess in our ranks.

Edit: Surely Big Nige is cheating since the topic says 'players'

Otherwise it would be NP hands down, every single vote.

I'd say Drinkwater. He's got all the attributes to be a success in the PL: pace, strength, close control and a very good passer of the ball. Plus the fact that he's now added goals to his game, he's pretty much the full package.

No worries. Think I'll leave my vote as Was though. I feel Nige has made an impact ever since he came to us and hasn't stopped, but team wise it's Was for me.

I voted for Schlupp. I just think if he starts 70% of games and continues to improve over the summer then he'll take it by storm. I wouldn't event be surprised to see him in the squad for a midweek England friendly.

Pearson would be the obvious one on that list.

 

I've gone for Schmeichel. I think he's got his weaknesses but we're going to be under a lot more pressure next season, and on his day (see England v Denmark) he will grab the headlines. I can see him having a couple of amazing games.

 

There's a lot of players, the likes of Drinkwater, James, Mahrez & De Laet who I all think are ready made for the league. Mahrez will only get better.

 

Vardy has the backing of the fans this time around but I could see him struggling a bit in front of goal. I love the lad but I still don't think he's a clinical finisher.

Given he's a Ghanaian international that'd be impressive. 

He's German.

 

Played for Ghana v Gabon in 2011.

He's triple nationality. That just adds to his FLAIR for me.

 

I'm amazed how much he's come along in the past few months. He's completely won me over.
