ramadaone Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Isn't this the guy who's mates with all of the England cricketers (not KP)?? He may know a few people in footy circles too. Best mates with Broady ( who is a Forest fan ) Knows nothing about LCFC
Ric Flair Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 The problem with Cleverley is, he'd cost about £10 million and i'm not sure he's worth anywhere near that.
ronnup Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 The problem with Cleverley is, he'd cost about £10 million and i'm not sure he's worth anywhere near that. He's not worth half that. Is he better than Drinkwater? No. If we're spending on a midfielder it needs to be someone who offers something different, and that has to be an off the front two creative type. Like Wes Hoolanhan for example
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Believe it or not, i could actually.see Tom Cleverly coming here on loan
MC Prussian Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 This will be a nightmare thread for the next three months to come. I just hope the majority of fans, carried away or not, will remain focused and avoid getting deluded much.

No. If we're spending on a midfielder it needs to be someone who offers something different, and that has to be an off the front two creative type. Like Wes Hoolanhan for example I agree he's worth nowhere near that but if he were to leave Man Utd they'd command a decent fee for him. He's first choice for England which is scandalous. I think he'll want a very powerful central midfielder, I say that actually but he's never signed one. Pearson's midfielders tend to be cut from the same cloth but I think we will NEED a powerful midfielder

Dan Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 I've said for a while I could see Cleverley coming back. James Vaughan anyone?
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 I'll wait until it's on the Sports Direct site before I take it as gospel
Guest Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 The rumours are rife. Out of favour at Manure, out of favour for England, played some great football for us, ex-team mate of James and Drinky. Do you think he's coming back? this is the place for the links. Bring him home NP.
Callabinho Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 We should go for an under the radar signing like that lad Maynard, catch us all by surprise.....
Haydos Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Like Ric has said, he'd be a silly price, look at Hendo for example. Loan would be a much better option if possible.
bluebeau Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 IMO neither of these 2 are better than we have already, so thanks but no thanks. If Cleverley is the best that England can select, then don't bother travelling to Rio Mr Hodgson. Now Chris commons from Celtic, yes please!
Amin Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Probably the fat one and christian. That would be a dream come true.
Webbo Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 I can't see ManU loaning him out. If he's not good enough now why would they want to hold on to him? He'll be sold to a bigger club than us.
Banks Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 I've said for a while I could see Cleverley coming back. James Vaughan anyone? James Vaughan defines injury prone. Decent player, but I'm sure we can get much better.
Haydos Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Always liked the look of James Morrison and Chris Brunt.
little Brian Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Always liked the look of James Morrison and Chris Brunt. no more pub players please
Stadt Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 no more pub players pleaseThey're both steady prem players, I'm surprised WBA are in a relegation battle because Amalfitano, Sessegnon, Brunt, Mulumbu and Morrison are good players - I suppose letting Long go was a mistake.
Vardinhio Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Since hearing about him hitting Berahino I'm no longer sure Morrison is a good idea!
Harry - LCFC Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 I've just seen Morrison in Morrison's. Morrisception. He's basically our player now, can't argue with omens like that.
