davieG Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Looks like an old pearson 442 team with hammond playing the oakley right sided mid field spot
Sunbury Fox Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Why are we playing weakened teams in so many games? Burnley played their strongest team today. Can't see why we're not doing the same. Not as if players need resting when they are about to have 3 months off.
Cropwellfox Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 What the fvck is that team? Owe it to all the travelling fans to put a decent match winning squad out. I can foresee a very disjointed match. How many times has that lineup played matches together this season. Barely any. Shame he's changed it so much for the fans today - imagine it'll be back to full strength next week particularly if Donny are still in the relegation scrap. As for today's team I expect a lot of hoof up to wood or GTF with Dyer and king looking to run past them. If it's not effective mahrez and nugent on early.
dog_4 Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 saying things like we have four quality central midfielders! no we don't!
davieG Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Well he's been slagged off before pre match and come away with the points. Probably a mix of players completing the number of games they need to get a medal, playing for a contract or Pearson just likes to see the reaction of foxestalkers before we've even kicked off
Brooksy Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Really hope we can get a result as 100 points will look brilliant.

Not as if players need resting when they are about to have 3 months off. Agree - like Pearson doesn't want 100 points but I suppose we should see how it unfolds, we could romp it with this line-up?
dmayne7 Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 3-5-2, you heard it here first. And who would play on the right as a wingback? Dyer or Konchesky?
TheUltimateWinner Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 For all those stressing out, may I remind you: Worst case scenario, we are champions?
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 For all those stressing out, may I remind you: Worst case scenario, we are champions? Actually the worst case scenario is we lose and my accumulator gets fvcked up. If that happens, Im going after Pearson!
RowlattsFox Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Interesting to see how Miquel does, not been involved for months and now threw back in. He's one that could earn a contract. Surprised we've gone with GTF, don't see the point having him and Phillips involved, would rather see young lads on the bench at least. Nowhere near our best eleven but most of the championship would probably love that to be their first team.
Stan Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Jeez. Reading some of these comments is like going back to the Middlesbrough Away match thread!
steveherbe Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Will just say, before kick off, I reckon this is a bit of a piss-take to all the fans who have travelled up there. First team ticket prices should warrant SEEING a first team. Anyway, we are champions so who cares. Just dont do this next week, or I'll be on the Pearson Out bus.
Gary Eatfood Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Expect Huddersfield to also field a much changed side this afternoon, still fancy us to win, about time Kingy got a goal. For anyone pessimistic enough to want to do it Huddersfield are 5/2 for the win.
ozleicester Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Im guessing most of the team is still out pi$$ed .. Nige doesnt want another Brighton

glenelgfox Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Ok lads (and ladettes) let's be positive - Dyer and King 2 each and an easy 4-0 win? :-)
RowlattsFox Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 I know there's a long summer off but he wouldn't want someone like drinkwater to pick up a serious injury in these last 2 games.

LCFC31 Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Now feeling very confident that my 4-1 loss prediction will come true.
kingfox Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 If Knockaert isn't injured, then hopefully a week out the team does him the world of good. Of course a very strange line up, but as proven over the course of the season, we've picked up results when Pearson has changed it. #HTAFC v #LCFC Today's starting XI: Smithies, Dixon, Clarke ©, Gerrard, Woods, Hogg, Clayton, Holmes, Hammill, Scannell, Wells
StanSP Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Taylor-Fletcher hat-trick, Kasper and Was penalties . Heard it here first.
Legend_in_blue Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 It's not the Leicester way to do things easily. To make 100 points we may as well make it as hard as possible to do so.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 26 April 2014 Posted 26 April 2014 Think we'll piss it tbh. Wood works best on his own, Dyer and King looked good at QPR, and GTF is still underrated by too many people on here. NP isn't resting anyone, he's working out who gets a contract. I expect them to be up for it, and more than good enough for a side who've just achieved their objective. 3-0 that could have been 5...
