Fox92 Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 It was that bullshit competition between the Europa League winners and the Champions League winners I think. Honestly can't remember the name. Ok thanks. I don't really watch European football but knew he scored that goal against Chelsea so wondered what the reference to not playing Champions League football was.
Captain... Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Ok thanks. I don't really watch European football but knew he scored that goal against Chelsea so wondered what the reference to not playing Champions League football was. He has played in Champions League but not since 2010, seems odd for a player with the reputation he has that he has moved 3 times to clubs not in the champions league and twice left after they have qualified. Obviously he isn't scared and was playing Europa League football, so my comment about him wanting the easy life was tongue in cheek, but it does seem like he is actively avoiding the CL.
65RosesFox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Didn't know where to put this and I don't think it's been posted elsewhere. The GTF 'fat jokes' are getting old but this did make me chuckle...
Ross-Kemp Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Ok thanks. I don't really watch European football but knew he scored that goal against Chelsea so wondered what the reference to not playing Champions League football was.European super cup.He scored a hat trick I believe.
Matt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Am I right in saying Burnley are currently leading the market in terms of the amount of players signed for a Prem club on this deadline day?
Matt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Welbeck medical at Arsenal which i'm abit gutted to hear. Telegraph reporting Falcao is going to earn £346,000 a week and they've paid £24m for the season-long loan, they're off their rockers! Panic! He's good but that money is madness. I can only presume that £24m will be knocked off/go towards a transfer fee should they sign him permanently.

Stadt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 He's on loan the first year to circumvent FFP rules
BlackburnClaret Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 It's 3 Million. They've spent as much as us this window now, at the very least, if not more. Haha, I wish. We are still desperate for a centre back. Looking like it could be Keogh.
Matt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 They paid £6m for the loan fee I only saw the headline on one of my apps, a missleading headline from the Telegraph: Radamel Falcao to earn £346,000 a week as Manchester United pay £24 million for season-long loan deal
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 You'd think man utd would be after defenders
Danno Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 You'd think man utd would be after defendersThey will be fine if they go back to 4 at the back, Rafael -Jones - Rojo - Shaw is not a bad defence, Evans is a lot better than Jones but i'm not sure whether he can play on the right side.
ScouseFox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Haha, I wish. We are still desperate for a centre back. Looking like it could be Keogh. if all your fees weren't hidden so dyche could keep crying about how little money he has we'd be able to see you've probably come very close to matching our spending. we've bought ulloa and simpson, everyone else was free.

They may frees but what about wages, signing on fees and agent fees. I think you'll find we are miles off. It's nothing to be ashamed of.
Matt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Welbeck medical at Arsenal which i'm abit gutted to hear. Woohoo! Denied.
Unabomber Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Woohoo! Denied. Why does that make you happy? Surely you rather Arsenal sign a doggo player?
Kitchandro Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 I'm looking forward to watching Mahrezup against Lee Peltier in a few weeks.

Matt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Why does that make you happy? Surely you rather Arsenal sign a doggo player? I'd rather them sign no striker.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 I'm looking forward to watching Mahrezup against Lee Peltier in a few weeks. I'm hoping Defoe might be lining up against peltier in a few weeks
ealingfox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Hull have emphatically disspelled the myth that players give a shit about the location of the club they are moving to.
