Corky Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 "Sandro could play for any team in the world" said Harry Redknapp The world obviously wasn't watching or couldn't afford him.
Matt Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Ourselves, Hull and West Brom were the busiest clubs this summer all signing 11 new players. (In the Prem) and people I know were moaning we hadn't signed anyone, I think they meant in terms of names or anyone they knew about but i'd rather it be that way, we are much more successful with 'unknowns' as opposed to big names.
65RosesFox Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 They will be fine if they go back to 4 at the back, Rafael -Jones - Rojo - Shaw is not a bad defence, Evans is a lot better than Jones but i'm not sure whether he can play on the right side. I wouldn't have Rafael, Jones or Evans in our defence.....
Danno Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 I wouldn't have Rafael, Jones or Evans in our defence.....Well youre an idiot then.
whitlock Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Michael Keane has gone on loan to Burnley till Jan.
Devonfox1884 Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Michael Keane has gone on loan to Burnley till Jan. Hopefully Vardy can repeat what he did to him vs Derby when we play them.
Grewks Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 If i was LVG.... ..................................De Gea .Rafael.........Jones......................Rojo...........Shaw ..................................Blind ....................Mata...................Fletcher ...Di maria...............................................Rooney ...............................Falcao/RVP .
Fox92 Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Did anyone see the stat that Manchester United have played at least one academy product in their first team since 1937? Is that true!? Can see that changing with the way they're going under Van Gaal.
Corky Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 We'll have a Man United youth team graduate in our side every match until 2056.
Danno Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 If i was LVG.... ..................................De Gea .Rafael.........Jones......................Rojo...........Shaw ..................................Blind ....................Mata...................Fletcher ...Di maria...............................................Rooney ...............................Falcao/RVP . Fletcher as an advanced midfielder in 3? And mata in centre midfield?
ScotFox22 Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 If i was LVG.... ..................................De Gea .Rafael.........Jones......................Rojo...........Shaw ..................................Blind ....................Mata...................Fletcher ...Di maria...............................................Rooney ...............................Falcao/RVP . This would be their best option IMO except with herrera instead of fletcher. That side should have enough goals in it to make top four, and a defence which can just about cope.
BlackburnClaret Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Hopefully Vardy can repeat what he did to him vs Derby when we play them. Don't tell me.....bought a penalty?
foxfanazer Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Don't tell me.....bought a penalty?No. Keane couldn't catch him to bring him down
ScouseFox Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Don't tell me.....bought a penalty? nah he pulled his kecks down repeatedly for 90 minutes. keane was pretty close to tears come about 60 mins after vards smashed in our 4th. crikey michael keane in the prem. this is gonna be bloody brilliant.
NewburyFox Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Don't tell me.....bought a penalty? Keane's been struggling with the physicality of the Championship, let alone the Premier League. I really hope he starts against us.
Fox92 Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Don't tell me.....bought a penalty? We never bought penalty... Can't help it if some defender slides through Vardy and the referee gives it.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Don't tell me.....bought a penalty? In all seriousness; Vardy absolutely destroyed him when Derby came to us in January. Keane looks comfortable on the ball but some of his positioning is terrible and he isn't quick enough to compensate for it with pace. Not top flight class by any stretch and I doubt he's actually any better than what you've already got if his performance for the Sheep a few months back is the standard.
Devonfox1884 Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Don't tell me.....bought a penalty? If that's code for embarrassed him and ripped him to shreds, then yeah, sure.
65RosesFox Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 I wouldn't have Rafael, Jones or Evans in our defence..... Well youre an idiot then.Never rated Rafael, think he's way over rated and loves a booking and reckless challenge.I honestly prefer Moore to Jones, he is a much more solid defender and a lot stronger. And the same when it comes to Morgan over Evans. Am I really the only one who thinks this?
BlackburnClaret Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Blimey, touchier than ever tonight boys.
lgfualol Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Michael Keane was good for us. Dont know how he will fare in the prem. I still feel the whole season we spent playing Keane, we could have been playing Moore.
Guest ttfn Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Michael Keane was good for us. Dont know how he will fare in the prem. I still feel the whole season we spent playing Keane, we could have been playing Moore. Keane was ok for us. Individually he looked like a decent footballer but his arrival coincided with a complete inability to a) keep a clean sheet and b) win. At all. He got absolutely humiliated by Vardy last year in the Derby game. The second goal is just embarrassing defending on his part. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=YFKdYmLgcdM#t=26
