Guest ttfn Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Welbeck would be a great signing for Arsenal.
shen Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Kvist from Stuttgart to Wigan... Desperate move by Kvist there. Can't believe a higher-calibre team didn't come after him.
One Legged Beaver Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Thought Arsenal liked a striker who is instinctively makes good little flicks etc. Welbeck just can't do that. And his finishing is no better than Sanogo's.
lestajigs Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 What the hell was up with that hull fan, boys eyes

ScouseFox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 arsenal gonna pay more for welbeck than liverpool did for balotelli.
Finnegan Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 arsenal gonna pay more for welbeck than liverpool did for balotelli. I can't believe I'm going to say this about a young England player... I actually think that's about right. I really don't get either the Balotelli hype or the Welbeck abuse. I think Arsenal needed someone better, I don't think Welbeck is world class. But I think, for value, he has a better future ahead of him. I think he has the nature and desire to commit himself and time enough left to improve. Balotelli strikes me as a train wreck waiting to happen.
johnny the fox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 The Hull fans on Sky Sports News.. a total Embarrassment...cringeworthy..stuff.. Im off to bed..I don't want to be associated with this stuff...........

Danno Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Lee Nelson should just kill himself to be honest. Boring unfunny twat.
Guest MattP Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 I can't imagine the Arsenal fans faces if after a summer of chasing Benzema, Falcao, Martinez, Remy and Huntelaar they end up with Welbeck. Wenger has to be trolling someone.
ADK Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Welbeck strikes me as more of a Wenger signing than those others.
Guest MattP Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Welbeck strikes me as more of a Wenger signing than those others. Young, gifted and black?
CloudFox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Welbeck strikes me as more of a Wenger signing than those others.Definitely. I do not understand why so many Gunners 'fans' are moaning about this signing. Every time he has been given a chance, Welbeck has played pretty well. He just hasn't had a decent run in a team as the main striker since he was loaned to Bolton. It's good for the national team too--more regularly playing English strikers at top clubs.
Matt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Welbeck strikes me as more of a Wenger signing than those others. Young, gifted and black? ...He's English though. I'm joking, Tbf and this is an admission in favour of Arsenal (I can't argue against really, it's fact) Arsenal have started playing more English [british] players in the last few season, not that many but more than they used too.

CloudFox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 oooh, nearly Hahaha I've had a mare! I meant Sunderland. That's what you get for trying to figure out which teams various England strikers have been loaned out to and then not engaging the dust between the ears!
Tielemans63 Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 All credit to LVG - best way to deal with a piss poor defence? **** the defence, lets build an entire team of strikers!
Soar Fox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 So Wenger has all summer to sign players then on the last day in the last hour you apply for an extension to get the Wellbeck deal done.
