Paul Ince has had many jobs, including a Premier League job with Blackburn, but hasn't really achieved anything (apart from MK Dons winning League Two). I have to agree, Paul Ince has been a terrible manager. Nothing to do with the colour of his skin, he's been given chances. Obviously I'm not in the business so I don't know how many black men do their coaching badges but I can't imagine they're being held back by the colour of their skin in this day and age. Making big issues like this only keeps racism alive in my opinion, there's a massive array of every kind of person in our game, at all levels.

He's probably basing it on the fact that Sol Campbell has a habit of coming across as an absolute knobhead in interviews. I think Corky is right, I think he'd be an awful manager - his skin colour is irrelevant though.

Likewise Keith Alexander in his lower league journeying - do well, keep the job/find it easier to get a job. It's not ****ing rocket science.

They were dead and buried when he was dismissed - apart from his first few months there he was appalling.

Record club points total in League 1 and only a few points behind us in his first Championship season isn't bad, granted it went a bit tits up the following season. Don't forget the instability caused by the takeover then, though.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 April 2015 Posted 4 April 2015 Somebody should tell all these awful managers that Chris Hughton doesn't seem to have any difficulty getting reasonable level jobs despite the colour of his skin because, y'know - he's actually a fairly competent boss. Can see Jimmy Floyd moving onto bigger things further down the line of his managerial career, too; because he's doing a good job and that's what any prospective bosses would look at. You'll get a gig if people think you're good enough regardless of skin colour - Barnes is a ****ing shit manager.
