Corky Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Yea, because we lost by a two goal margin to Chelsea, same as you. You're hardly flying yourselves. You played well yesterday
casablancas Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 A post stolen from the bbc: "Wind the clock back to 24 November last year, when Andre Villas-Boas' Tottenham side were being thumped 6-0 at Manchester City. Spurs were overrun in midfield that day, with Sandro playing in a deep role behind Paulinho and Lewis Holtby, and QPR's Joey Barton was unimpressed. He tweeted then: "I'd destroy both the midfielders Spurs have wasted money on and I'm a championship player. Albeit, an exceptional one..." whoever has twitter please remind him of this
BlackburnClaret Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 We were excellent, particularly in the 2nd half. It's infuriating listing to the pundits, many who have said QPR are the best equipped to stay up. Obviously none of them watched the Championship last season. I'm still convinced once we find our feet we will stay up comfortably.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Our performance was better and we picked up a point against a decent side. Sorry 'fodder' does sound disrespectful. I do consider you as one of the 3 teams that will go down Don't get any points for a performance being better.
foxfanazer Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Don't get any points for a performance being better.I know mate but what I mean is it looks more encouraging for us that. Just my opinion, obviously football doesn't always work like that though
Guest Papasmurf Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 I know mate but what I mean is it looks more encouraging for us that. Just my opinion, obviously football doesn't always work like that though Quite right we've put in 2 shifts to be proud of that's for sure. Just think 2 games is far too soon in the season to be making proper judgement calls.
65RosesFox Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Michael Keane about to come on for Utd. Less than 20 minutes gone. Let's see how he gets on...
Babylon Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 From what I have seen so far in the Premier League we are a top 12 club, easily.Easy sunshine... We had stuff like this before. Long long way to go, as others have said before, playing teams at the top with no pressure is one thing, playing those around us under pressure is another.... Wonder how many caps Rio sold today.
65RosesFox Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Michael Keane about to come on for Utd. Less than 20 minutes gone. Let's see how he gets on... Cheers Geoff!
Babylon Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Get in Rodwell!Yay... Get in a fellow relegation candidates.
Kitchandro Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 I'm still gobsmacked Van Aanholt is playing in the Premier League.
davieG Posted 24 August 2014 Author Posted 24 August 2014 Surely a Sunderland defeat is in our best interests?
Guest Papasmurf Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 I'm still gobsmacked Van Aanholt is playing in the Premier League. 2 caps for Holland.
Benji Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Yay... Get in a fellow relegation candidates. I realised this last weekend when watching Southampton at Liverpool and Palace at Arsenal. Suddenly it's not quite as fun cheering on the underdogs.
bovril Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Surely a Sunderland defeat is in our best interests? Honestly I can't see us breaking the top 10 this season. We need to hope the relegation candidates slip up so a Sunderland victory would be preferable.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 How's Di Maria going to fit into this Utd formation?
65RosesFox Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 I'm still gobsmacked Van Aanholt is playing in the Premier League. Looks a lot stronger and stockier now from when he was on loan with us
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Yea, because we lost by a two goal margin to Chelsea, same as you. You're hardly flying yourselves. You were at home.....we were away.......
casablancas Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Looks like a good a time as any to face united and arsenal, both look as though they are devoid of idea. Would like to see us really go for the throat. I think Vardy and Mahrez could flourish.
One Legged Beaver Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 The United back 3 would look average in the championship let alone a team supposedly challenging for top 4!
Leicesterpool Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Surely a Sunderland defeat is in our best interests? Nah not bothered really, lets enjoy United's suffering.
