Guest Col city fan Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Clear to see already just how much the Scousers are gonna miss Count Suarez. Balotelli signed I see...
Dan Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 I hope this is the season where people realise how over-rated Balotelli is.
bovril Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 It's between Man City and Chelsea this season. I know Liverpool have got Balotelli to come in but I can't see them making the top 4 again this season. Who else will? Probably not United, Everton I doubt. So that's two between 'pool, Arsenal and Spurs.
Buzzell Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 "I look forward to my own team being battered" Wasn't sure if you were being serious or not. Well I am looking forward to seeing one of the most talented strikers in world football at the KP.
Buzzell Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Mignolet really is a bang average goalkeeper, positioning for the third was diabolical. I agree. So surprised they didn't stick with Reina this season. Brilliant keeper.
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Well I am looking forward to seeing one of the most talented strikers in world football at the KP. Bobby Zamora?
ealingfox Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Well I am looking forward to seeing one of the most talented strikers in world football at the KP. The wait's nearly over, Jamie is back in training and should be available to face Arsenal.
Soar Fox Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Well I am looking forward to seeing one of the most talented strikers in world football at the KP. You get to see him most weeks. Jamie Vardy
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Has anyone any idea why Van Gaal isn't sorting out Utd's defence?
yorkie1999 Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Man City are playing one of our songs. After that performance against Liverpool, I can see only us being able to put man city in their place.
iamafox Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 I wonder what Balotelli is thinking right now, seeing his new club being beaten by his old one
Corky Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Man City are playing one of our songs. After that performance against Liverpool, I can see only us being able to put man city in their place. Shall we show them how it's done?
johnny the fox Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Where is the skill as a manager in buying a player for 65 million..? any c u n t could do that... ludicrous..
Buzzell Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Bobby Zamora? Another QPR related post by Col. Shock.
yorkie1999 Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Where is the skill as a manager in buying a player for 65 million..? any c u n t could do that... ludicrous.. Seems to me that sky get more excited about the money being dolled out instead of the actual football.
BlackburnClaret Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 The difference being that you looked absolutely wank the entire match and we looked better than Chelsea for the first half Wank apart from Arfield's screamer, of course. I think we were decent against a team that I think will walk the league this year.
ScouseFox Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 A team with Joe Allen and Jordan Henderson in centre midfield with an ageing Gerrard is not going to win the league. they came incredibly close last year
fuchsntf Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 A team with Joe Allen and Jordan Henderson in centre midfield with an ageing Gerrard is not going to win the league. A. Wiltshire, O.Chamberlain types would do Liverpool well, but like you are saying these guys might chase top 5, but not top 2. Joe Allen looked a good prospect a while back, but doesnt spark like Wiltshire, who still has a lot to, prove. English teams future, especially with Barclay being injured looks very dower.Sturridge doesnt do anything for me, to lead the English line.Henderson might hold his own if he has players around him. This thread leads to the next England generation....At this moment injuries permitting.I have no more than 8 outfield players Wiltshire, Rooney Stirling, lallana,, Chamberlain, Townsend, Cahill , luke Shaw then maybe Walcott, but we need 14-15 plus GKs
BlackburnClaret Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 You mean the second half where Chelsea controlled the entire game and played kick about whilst your lot didn't look threatening in the slightest? Reading isn't your strong point, is it?
Harry - LCFC Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Has anyone any idea why Van Gaal isn't sorting out Utd's defence? Odd isn't it? Tyler Blackett was not well rated by Birmingham fans last season and yet he starts for United this season. Doesn't seem to have been too bad so far but he can't be good enough for a full season. I also don't think I'm overstepping myself in saying that Morgan and Moore are a better partnership than Jones and Smalling. I'm baffled that he hasn't dealt with such an obvious problem.
fuchsntf Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Has anyone any idea why Van Gaal isn't sorting out Utd's defence? It mystifies me totally. The whole of England see manu must invest in the defence.Yes he needs a new midfield but you cant not have a solid defence at their level and commitments. Van Gaal nor coaching staff have shown any recognition towards back 4 fratilities. next to QPR, WBA they may have the worst back 4 in the league.
The Doctor Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Well I am looking forward to seeing one of the most talented strikers in world football at the KP. - Ballotelli is not one of the worlds most talented strikers. As for Man Utd, I'm really enjoying this apparent fall from grace. If they can follow Newcastles example to almost a tee, aside from the not coming back up after being relegated, that'd be great. Just a shame there's no way to make the glory boys feel the pain of relegation - they've probably all hopped across the city by now.

So yeah the boy is talented.

I'd be alright with it, if they weren't waxing 60 million on a player the really don't need, assuming they stick with the wing backs I really have no idea where Di Maria is going to play. He's not a wing back and they've already got about 6 players capable of playing number 10. What they going to do drop Mata? Mind you I suppose Rojo should sure it up a bit if Smalling is out for any length of time their in deep trouble.
benpicko Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Reading isn't your strong point, is it? Yes it's been pointed out that I misinterpreted your comment because your previous one was about Chelsea. Sorry about that and I didn't watch the Swansea one so I can't comment on it.
