Buzzell Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Good signing for Liverpool. Absolute bargain. Looking forward to watching him tear us a new one down at the KP.

MHC Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Good signing for Liverpool. Absolute bargain. Looking forward to watching him tear us a new on down at the KP. He'd have to escape from Liam Moore's back pocket first.

Father Ted Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Watching United go tits up is hilarious. Spending £63.7 million on a player who doesn't even fit into their 3-5-2 system is outrageous. They could have assembled a world class defence for that amount. Their centre backs and wing backs genuinely look Championship quality.

It's crazy that they've spent £100 million on Mata and Di Maria, but still play with Smalling & Jones at the back. Surely it would be better spending the money on 3/4 players on improving the whole team instead of just buying one individual.
One Legged Beaver Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Have a hunch that Di Maria is going to be a bit of a flop at United. They don't have the players like Bale and Ronaldo to distract the attention of the opposition players from Di Maria.
Webbo Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 3-2 to Man City would do me for the prediction league.
Fox92 Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 1-0 Manchester City. Don't really deserve it for me.
Buzzell Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Obviously depending on whether he can get past 'The Wall', Morgan and Moore.
Harry - LCFC Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 What? "I look forward to my own team being battered" Wasn't sure if you were being serious or not.
RowlattsFox Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 A team with Joe Allen and Jordan Henderson in centre midfield with an ageing Gerrard is not going to win the league.
Dan Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Fergie must have seen what was coming, it's going to take United a few years to break back into Europe you have to look at Liverpool and how long it them. I reckon Moyes was hard done by. But it was obvious what was going to happen there. A bit of both of these for me - I maintain the 2012/13 Premier League was as weak as I remember it being with nearly every top side not at their best, Man Utd included. That however doesn't excuse how poor Moyes was. He had a tough situation but didn't exactly make a good go of it. The people slating him for his lack of top club mentality before he took the job were spot on. The bloke was out of his depth. I cannot imagine they'll be this poor for the rest of this season mind.

To be fair Real have been playing him central midfield and if anything he's had his best year there.
Webbo Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 It's between Man City and Chelsea this season. I know Liverpool have got Balotelli to come in but I can't see them making the top 4 again this season.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Mignolet really is a bang average goalkeeper, positioning for the third was diabolical.
Dan Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 The atmosphere is diabolical for such a big game. I don't think I can ever remember it sounding good at Man City for a big game barring the QPR one.
