bovril Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 United seem more concerned with making a 'statement of intent' with their signings rather than actually getting a decent defender. As for the promoted teams debate, 6 games in and only one club with one point. Bit difficult to say who's best equipped to stay up. I completely understand why some would pick QPR seeing as they've been there recently.
casablancas Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 I genuinely think we are going to be 'ok' this season. Based on what I've watched this weekend we will be able to match a lot of teams, this includes a misfiring united and arsenal. I'm by no means suggesting we are going to walk this season at a canter but I do think we will avoid relaxation handsomely. We appear highly organised with good communication and a great spirit. I don't think we will conced a huge amount but nor do I think we will score much. For the first time in ten years we are testing ourselves against the big boys we are now easily the small fish, but I think we shall swim. It's a hugely exciting time to be a Leicester fan and let us sit back and enjoy. Ps. Ashley young is still a diving git
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 We've made an encouraging start but anybody hailing us a top half side after two games needs to calm down a little. Games against the likes of QPR, Burnley, WBA have a lot more riding on them than Chelsea away, and, for me - will be a much bigger test of our bottle.
casablancas Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 £64m for Di Maria... Is he that good???? He's gonna have to set the world alight to lift this united team.
Master Fox Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Half of United's team wouldn't get near a starting place at Leicester.
ousefox Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 £64m for Di Maria... Is he that good????Diego Costa was half of that...
purpleronnie Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Who did I bet that utd would finish above Liverpool? I'm regretting it already.
Master Fox Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Keane isn't worthy enough to scrub Morgan's boots.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Seems about double what he should be worth. That's what competing with PSG without the attraction of either Paris or Champions League football will do to a transfer fee.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Louis 'Tactical Mastermind' Van Gaal So happy to see him have poo on his face (No i'm not talking about you Ashley).
Master Fox Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Shame we couldn't have played United yet. They look awful. Relegation candidates.
MooseBreath Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Would fancy us for three points against both of these on this kind of form
purpleronnie Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Wish I bet more than 8p on a Man U draw What bookies took 8p
lgfualol Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 What bookies took 8p Skybet You can bet 5p if you want.
One Legged Beaver Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 I know it's an extremely bold statement after only 2 games, but I can't really see that bottom 3 changing a great deal now for the rest of the season!
dogadug Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 There's no way people should be coming to any conclusions on the bottom 3 after 2 games
Fox92 Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 United look poor. Don't get how people cheer the opposition all the time, especially when they're playing teams I'd expect to be around us. Moyes had a big job to turn that lot around, Van Gaal has the same big job.
ScouseFox Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 mad that you can get suarez for marginally more than di maria
