Guest Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 Interview with Heskey on 5 live Sport tonight in case anyone's interested
Nalis Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 I've just turned over and the first thing I hear is don goodman "it's those fine margins" seriously, is this the most overused annoying cliche ever known. I'd be interested to know the average number of times he says it each match. Its up there with 'Better' from Andy Townsend.
Dan Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 It'l be 2 wins in 17 games after today That's even worse than us at a lower level that is staggering. I know they've probably drawn far more but ****ing hell.
Corky Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 That's even worse than us at a lower level that is staggering. I know they've probably drawn far more but ****ing hell. In our games we've run Man City close, battered Spurs, pushed Liverpool quite hard too. Forest have been beaten 3-0 by Huddersfield, twice by Birmingham and drawn with Millwall, Brighton, Wigan and Rotherham, all four of whom are in the bottom six. Quite similar to our own run 20 months ago.
SystonFox Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 Forest in being poor shocker. I believe they're stuck in that league for quite some time
Babylon Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 St Ledger has left Ipswich without making an appearance... Best defender we had don't you know!
Soar Fox Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 St Ledger has left Ipswich without making an appearance... Best defender we had don't you know! Where's Kingfox and Cuddly Ken to tell us Mick McCarthy is wrong?
Fox92 Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 He's a decent enough Championship player, but I always doubted his attitude. He fell out with people at Peterborough, at Middlesbrough and then reportedly with Nige.
LCFC FOX Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 He Never fell out with nige, the reasoning he stayed. St Ledger is probably one of the nicest footballers you will meet. Has a laugh and won't snub you.
dogadug Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 He Never fell out with nige, the reasoning he stayed. St Ledger is probably one of the nicest footballers you will meet. Has a laugh and won't snub you. Yes he did..
kingfox Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 Not bothered about the Ledge anymore, but if he wants career advice he should go back to Preston.
Leicesterpool Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 St Ledger has left Ipswich without making an appearance... Best defender we had don't you know! St Ledger when fit and available he was one hell of a defender, but simply too injury prone if it wasn't for that he probably would be playing in the premier league for someone now.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 One hell of a defender? You eaten too many Refreshers again 'pool?
Fox92 Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 He Never fell out with nige, the reasoning he stayed. St Ledger is probably one of the nicest footballers you will meet. Has a laugh and won't snub you. Not doubting he is a nice guy. I've always liked him as a footballer, rated him at Preston, but my point was about his attitude. I always thought there was a falling out with Nige, hence St Ledger got transfer listed, but his previous fallings out at Peterborough and Middlesbrough, as I said previously, spring to mind.
Corky Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 Derby barely had to play well to win, Leeds are terrible. Still, they sing Marching on Together and We all Love Leeds quite a lot.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 Would love to see Leeds go down. Then they can charge £36 for away fans from Yeovil and Rochdale
Dan Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 Forest in being poor shocker. I believe they're stuck in that league for quite some time If they're lucky I doubt they'll go down but they aren't a million miles off. Leeds are utter terrorism as a side. So, so bad it's unreal.
Dan Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 Sean St Ledger has never been anything other than a mediocre Championship defender. I've never understood the hype with him.
SystonFox Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 Sean st Ledger has great LADbanter. How on earth he's earnt enough to drive a Bentley continental GT I'll never know
jimmeh Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 Feel sorry for malky mckay. HIs career is basically over now.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Leeds are utter terrorism as a side.. wot
Babylon Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 St Ledger when fit and available he was one hell of a defender, but simply too injury prone if it wasn't for that he probably would be playing in the premier league for someone now.Do me a favour, premier league player ha ha ha.
ScouseFox Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 derby sign darren bent until the end of the season. could be a decent bit of business, they create a hell of a lot of chances and someone with that experience should finish a few off. similar to us signing phillips last season? interestingly schteve is the new bookies fav for the newcastle job. could he be tempted?
