Richard Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 derby sign darren bent until the end of the season. could be a decent bit of business, they create a hell of a lot of chances and someone with that experience should finish a few off. similar to us signing phillips last season? interestingly schteve is the new bookies fav for the newcastle job. could he be tempted? He'd be stupid not to if he's offered it. Derby are no certainty for promotion with it being so tight at the top of the champ. McLaren's a good coach but has historically been poor in the transfer market, working with Graham Carr and Newcastle's scouting department could be a good match.
Corky Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 Their form in the last three months has been poor given their start and strength of squad, plus Ipswich have been doing exceptionally well on considerably less resources.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 That Adams bloke looked very Norwich didn't he

Banks Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Feel sorry for malky mckay. HIs career is basically over now. I don't feel sorry at all for him.
Banks Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Norwich appoint former Hamilton Academical player-manager Alex Neil as their new manager: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30744801 Gamble much? massive gamble, Scotland is very different from England. Kris Boyd managed to make himself look like Pele in the SPL... However, to be fair he's done a great job at Hamilton, 3rd in the league- obviously performing way above the club's expectations.
ScouseFox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 A Derby fan at work thinks they'll beat our points total from last season. So I've had £20 with him that they don't, surely that's easy money for me. just going back to this great bet, derby now have 22 games left this season, ie. 66 points to play for. to beat our 102 points they need to get 58 out of those 66 points. something like W19, D1, L2. or W18, D4 L0. it's almost impossible for them to beat what we got last year and we're only half way through the season . hope he gave you an extra £20 with your birthday present pal.

Amazing isn't it. Watched a great video of him saying "We'll always be Red" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2902537/Cardiff-owner-Vincent-Tan-consider-changing-club-colour-blue.html
ScouseFox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 means they all buy another new kit before the season's out, too. good business.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I wanted them to stick with red to be honest, lost all sympathy when they kept filling the ground after the change.
Stadt Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I wanted them to stick with red to be honest, lost all sympathy when they kept filling the ground after the change. And people actually bought the red shirt
Kitchandro Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 And people actually bought the red shirt Yep. He's only made a u-turn because crowds have dropped and both he and the fans have decided the Premiership cannot be the be all and end all. I don't know why anyone at Cardiff thought they could just be a Premier League club forever, and nothing else would matter.
1993fox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Just glad we're in a league of such high pedigree of teams, teams that don't have sponsors such as justeat.co.uk
