Harry - LCFC Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 What a fvcking cvnt on MUTV. "Jeff Schlupp showing why centre forwards shouldn't play in defence" 102 points you utter, utter bellend. Tbh he probably isn't up to international level yet. Especially not the team he's currently playing against. He shouldn't feel to ashamed if he doesn't play great tonight.
Narborough_fox Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 The commentator on MUTV is awful. I know, they're showing it due to the RVP and Van Gaal link but they could have at least down a little bit of research on Ghana, whenever they're on the ball I don't think they know which player is which! He also needs to stop saying 'RVP and LVG.' Doing my absolute nut in.
stb1996 Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 According to who scored.com schlupp was ghana's second best player... http://bit.ly/1pviEOo

TomTom8 Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 here a summary of Mahrez's game against Armenia. Did better than expected considering it's his first time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVnq81pJpY8

Fox_in_spain Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 The good news is Jeff has stopped dividing opinions amongst the ranks of the Ghanaian tweeters. The bad news is they all want him dropped.
Narborough_fox Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 To be fair, Jeff has had an absolute stinker of a game. But when you're coming up against Robben in your first game in a new team it's understandable. Hopefully the manager sees it differently to all of us watching and still takes a punt on him but I can't see it.

ousefox Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 He looked very nervous. Could tell he didn't want the ball at all.
KFS Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 This commentator, wow. Why is he taking particular interest in degrading Schlupp?
Happy Fox Posted 31 May 2014 Author Posted 31 May 2014 This experience will stand him in good stead to work his bollocks off you need criticism it may be harsh but go and prove the doubters wrong Schluppmeister.
Brooksy Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 What a dive at 2.38 Nice to see we've got a diver in the team, hopefully he can win us a few dodgy penos next season.
Stadt Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Nice to see we've got a diver in the team, hopefully he can win us a few dodgy penos next season.Yeah, Vardy's penos are too legitimate
Brooksy Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Yeah, Vardy's penos are too legitimate Other than Derby, Middlesbrough, Reading, Birmingham, Watford, Burnley, QPR, Bolton, Barnsley and Blackpool I can't remember a dive from Vardy.
LCFC31 Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Nice to see we've got a diver in the team, hopefully he can win us a few dodgy penos next season. My favourite thing about a dodgy peno is how angry opposition fans get.
MC Prussian Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Schlupp has had a bit of a mare so far It wasn't all that bad. Obviously, he's not used to play in the National Team and still needs to find his place. Also, facing opposition like Sneijder and Robben is something else compared to the standard of play in the Championship. I thought he did fairly well in the latter stages of the game. He needs to start next week, as well. If he bombs it then, I'd be scared as the Ghanaian national foootball team coach. Up until then, give the guy a break. He'll come good, just needs match practice on an international level.

That was after about 20 minutes when he'd slipped for the goal, given the ball away for Robben's 1-on-1 and hadn't passed the ball forwards successfully once! As I said, when the nerves subsided somewhat, he improved greatly. Still suspect he may struggle to make the 23-man squad...
Finnaldo Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Very good debut for Mahrez. To think we paid such a small fee makes it all the more amazing.
LAprice_ Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Mahrez was exceptional...against Armenia. Schlupp struggled... against Holland. Hardly any surprises to be honest.
