If not seen already, he is being allowed to leave Reims for £5.5 million.

Worth going for or not?

Would be an excellent signing I must admit.

This geezer is off to Sevilla.

What a shame.

Sense of realism needs to happen to our fans, we are well far the pecking list being in the prem, and with our wage structure we are going to struggle to get even mediocre top level players

He is in talks with the club, but the transfer fee's a big issue.

Reims want 7 million Euro, Sevilla are willing to pay in between 4 to 5 million.

Not a done deal yet.

No need for such condescension. If it's true what Prussian says, that sevilla aren't prepared to cough up the 7 mill Euros, who's to day we can't? And why shouldn't he want to come to us, given the draw of the Prem? The only other question is wages - do you KNOW for a fact that sevilla would be prepared to offer him more than 30k pw?

Sevilla won the Europa League, they're much bigger draw than a relegation battle.

So you can guarantee that we'll be in a relegation battle? Suppose we rise above that.

You can only judge on what facts are available, we have no standing as a premiership club, our ambition and our signings are not going to attract others. Taking our blue tint specs off, we have to be realistic and realise we are low draw relative to other prem clubs and European clubs. That's not condescending just a sense of realism.

The problem is that if we refuse to pay top dollar wages we are always relying on finding an Izzet, Drinkwater etc. The problem with this philosophy is that sooner rather than later it is doomed to fail. If the Thais want to splash out then I hope they do. All of the we are little Leicester syndrome would go out the window.
