Neil Lennon quits Celtic..

Interesting.

Norwich? West Brom? Spurs? Someone else?

Where's your money?

I doubt he would have quit for a relegation battle, so maybe Spurs, but then I wouldn't think he would be a Spurs type manager, could be Newcastle or Villa...

Spurs?  lol you must be joking?

Seems unlikely I know, but a proven winner in the SPL and cup, but I doubt he would leave a cushy job at Celtic without being tapped up, and I doubt it would be for a relegation battle with Norwich or West Brom, I could have seen him at West Ham, but they've just committed to Sam, likewise Newcastle and Villa are probably the next step up from Celtic, but Pardew still has a long way to go on his contract and the owner situation at Villa means nothing is certain there.

Maybe he just thought fvck it I'll take my chances.

Neil Lennon is to part company with Celtic after four years as manager following talks about his future.

It is understood that the former club captain had been considering his position for some time despite securing a third straight Scottish title.

He has been concerned about this playing budget for next season.

The 42-year-old Northern Irishman took charge of the Glasgow club in 2010, leading them to three league titles and two Scottish Cups.

Lennon, who also previously led Celtic to Champions League last 16, is believed to have been concerned that his present side would be able to negotiate three rounds of qualifying next season.

Probably has no idea where he's going.

Maybe they forgot his birthday...

I am pretty sure he has been talking to other clubs, or at least putting feelers out, you don't just throw away a very good job on a bit of a punt.

Surely Norwich, and good for him for realising that he needs a new challenge the SPL quality is nowhere near compared to the championship, he has got his work cut out but good luck to him.

lol Wtf!

This is a bloke who is given a League title with no Rangers and still manages to cock up virtally every cup competition with no one to beat. It wouldn't surprise me if he's been given a nudge by Celtic.

Norwich is the obvious choice you would think. Gary Hooper there for him as well.

Spurs hardly have a good track record in terms of managerial recruitment, wouldn't be that unlikely.

Henrik Larsson hot favourite to succeed, McKay in the frame too, no mention of Moyes though, could be the perfect job for him, out of the spotlight and a chance to build his reputation.

Believe me or not I had a dream last week that I read on BBC sport website that Neil Lennon had joined Norwich. Except I thought I'd actually read it and told people it had happened lol

I guess we are only in the frame as NP's contract hasn't been resolved yet.

Both Fulham and West Ham are keeping their managers.

Daniel Levy is obsessed with backing (and sacking) big names it appears, no way will they go for Neil Lennon.

How would it rebuild it? Celtic don't even need a manager to win the league until Rangers get back up, the title is over, Moyes would be a laughing stock if he ran upto the SPL for a free championship.

No Premier League manager worth his salt would move up there, let alone someone like Moyes who would be desperate to prove himself after Man Utd.

I did say he wasn't a Tottenham type appointment, was jsut speculating on the available jobs and which would turn Lennon's head, fair play to him if he chooses a relegation fight with Norwich or West Brom, over a stroll to the title north of the border.

Moyes already is a laughing stock, I doubt he would be offered or want a Prem job for next season, taking the Celtic job would give him a chance to put United behind whilst winning trophies and playing the Champions League.
