HEGGSY Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 John O'reillys in Thurmaston is where I go. Only down the road from me.
AyewJoking Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 done my own for years. must have saved £300 quid which has gone on more important stuff like beer.
Rincewind Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 done my own for years. must have saved £300 quid which has gone on more important stuff like beer. Well said.
sphericalfox Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 I was asked one at work what's the most I'd pay for a haircut. Zero pounds. As I own a pair of clippers, hate awkward barber's conversations, there really is no need to spend any money on my head. I used to have a fine head of hair whenst younger, and yet still don't understand the idea of preening, and spending excessive money on it, like the ladies. It's just not reet.
Unabomber Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 I go to Homme & Co on High Street in Leicester and would recommend them. I think it is £15 but they do it for £10 after you have been a few times.
NewburyFox Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 Luigi's is the place to go. Only like £8, I've been going there for over 14 years and no complaints from me.
Kitchandro Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 My dad or my sister do mine at home. It's free so it's good value as long as it's not my sister doing it (they don't call her the butcher of Blaby for nothing) but they'd probably charge anyone else. They don't make annoying small talk but there is always the chance you'll leave with an ear missing. Or one of those patchy numbers that retards have.
Father Ted Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 Used Head2Head once and never again. Stunk in the shop (Evington Road one), was bashing the machine hard against my head and then cut me on the back of my neck which was the final straw. Got up, told him to do one and walked out so got a free haircut Served him right, ****. I use the Barber Shop in Evington Village now, top lads and do an excellent quality cut for £7!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 I go to one down the road from me in Coalville. £8 and the girls do a cracking job (as good as you can with 1 on the back and dsides and spiked up on top ) You can get real cheap ones going into the college bit where the apprentices do it. Costs about £2 I think. Never done it but I wouldn't have a problem in doing so.
Jace Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 The best thing about head2head is you may also bump into Nigel Pearson there too
rico Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 I used to go skill centre when I was younger to get my streaks done foc

Sounds like a place I went once in Sheffield that did a 'student cut' for a fiver and the hairdresser ended up bleeding on me. The place I go to in Sofia tends to make me look like a war criminal from the former Yugoslavia.

vandamman Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 I go to Dans in Birstall, very good hair dresser. Yeah he's decent but a bit miserable at the same time.. Few good barbers on the Syston high street too if people live that way.
Danizen Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 The two older blokes in Junction are good but the younger bloke and the woman...I stopped going because they don't know how to cut hair and I'm too polite to ask for one of the older ones. I go to Nix on Hinckley Road. The Indian guy in there is a master.

Tincy Posted 15 July 2013 Author Posted 15 July 2013 Luigi's is the place to go. Only like £8, I've been going there for over 14 years and no complaints from me. Gone up to £9 now
RonnieTodger Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 I go to Homme & Co on High Street in Leicester and would recommend them. I think it is £15 but they do it for £10 after you have been a few times. Me too. Would also recommend it.
Soar Fox Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 Get my done at Eve's on Upperton Road by my sister. Still charges me £10 but I have a couple of beers and then have my eyebrows threaded.

SystonFox Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 Mewies and Indy in Quorn. Top bloke Dan. Has worked in Indy in town before now aswell as Barrie Stephen.
SystonFox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Top place and top people in there! The new one in quorn is beautiful too. Opposite the white horse pub so a decent pint to be had after aswell
notnow john Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 I go to Dans in Birstall, very good hair dresser. Good to see he's found something he's talented at. Was there a salon fee.
