This is just sad and it leaves a sour taste for something, that should be awesome, the world getting together around the World Cup and celebrating the beautiful game...

They've surprised me, I've been hearing how shite they are but even before the match you can see their togetherness and determination. nd they've been positive. Loving their kit too. Cameroon are dog poo. I actually think Matterface and Carlisle are a significant improvement on the other ITV commentary teams. I mean Peter Drury is far more unbearable, as is Andy Townsend.

I thought the match fixing claims last night were a bit premature, but there's surely no other explanation here. No linesman at this level should be close to making one mistake of that magnitude across the whole tournament, never mind twice in one half. Very dodgy indeed.
