J.Lisemore Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 The best thing for Liverpool at the moment is to sack Rodgers and get Klopp in while he's still available. Big chance to get a genuine top quality manager in who could make a massive difference.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 I so want that to happen so Klopp is finally revealed to be the fraud he is.
AKCJ Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 I so want that to happen so Klopp is finally revealed to be the fraud he is. Good one.

ScouseFox Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Imagine how great the conversation between him and Willian was hahaha. willian was like when you couldn't be arsed playing out with your mates when you were a kid. "er yeah sounds good i would do like but er me ma has got the tea on so i'm going to chelsea l o l xo"
fuchsntf Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 I so want that to happen so Klopp is finally revealed to be the fraud he is. Why fraud....Strange statement. I have followed his whole career, many ex-players and any manager past or present, would be proud of his run so far. NO he still has to collect a few more experiences, badges and trophies to get in anybodies top 10. He revived Dortmund, the great BVB, before he had took Mainz into their best ever era, in their history. Both clubs fans, are more than gratefull for him crossing their changing-rooms...
fuchsntf Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Liverpool, have some top players on their books, Rodgers who I thought was a great catch for them at the time, plus his coaching staff, have had time to create some new era. IMO, at the moment unless something extrordinary happens, their best expectations would be squeezing last spot in top 4, More likely stay around top 6.If Soton, Swansea,Spurs can produce an extra 5% , Liverpool would be struggling to even reach that. I dont even enjoy watching them, Everton could become the top team from Mersey ( next to city, my favourite club in PL)
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 When is Rodgers going to get the push? For Liverpool to have spent what they have spent, to then put out a show like they did against Man Utd is nothing short of disgraceful. They are worse than they were a couple of seasons ago, in spite of blowing all the Suarez and Sterling money and looking like being just very average this season. Ridiculous state of affairs for such a proud and prestigious club. It's hard to imagine, given the time and resources at their disposal that anyone could have done much worse a job.

Nail on the head...Plus it could turn out to be their worst finish, since their promotion way back when.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Always knew all this talk of Rodgers the tactical genius was absolute bollocks, getting Liverpool to top 4 with Suarez playing like he did, lifting the entire squad game after game, any half decent manager could of done it, wasted literally hundreds of millions of pounds on absolute guff. Can't see Klopp wanting to go to Liverpool, they can't attract top players and doubt they will be attracting a top manager any time soon either. Strange considering where Rodgers has come from and how awful he's been but would think Monk is a good shout for the Liverpool job.
Dan Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Time for Rodgers to go. As expected, despite the big spending, you're still painfully average.
AjcW Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Whoooops did we get the Stevie G thread deleted?

Guest MattP Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 We were having a debate in the pub the other day about whether Liverpool should still be classed as a "big club". Sure they are the most successful (from a long time ago) but can any team really claim that when they now haven't even won their own domestic league for near on three decades?
The Horse's Mouth Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 they're a largescale version of what forest are
Dan Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 We were having a debate in the pub the other day about whether Liverpool should still be classed as a "big club". Sure they are the most successful (from a long time ago) but can any team really claim that when they now haven't even won their own domestic league for near on three decades? I've had them down as the second biggest but it's a good point about their lack of league win. They're being surpassed.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 Rodgers must be on borrowed time now.
Finnegan Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 They're also rans. The club might have a big commercial profile but in terms of premier league success they're just there to make up the numbers like the rest of us. When Blackburn Rovers have won the league more recently than you you know you're not "massive." They aren't going to win the league any time soon, they'll need massive rebuilding just to be a consistent champions league team. Now that United have achieved some stability, which of them, Arsenal, City and Chelsea are the current Liverpool side going to oust?
