Some Stupid Benefit Sanctions

Not doing anything, I don't have the means of paying for a course, and I'm at that point now where I'd rather be paid than volunteer.

Stop posting shit on here and mastarbating all the time, do something productive with your time!!!!!   Abit of hard work and dedication, will open a few doors for you, there are no quick fixes mate!!!

Really?  Who are these people?  Do they employ lazy ****ers who cannot be bothered to do anything at all to improve themselves?  I seriously doubt it.

A lot of jobs are gained that way though. Obviously not going to help if that person thinks you are lazy though!

I don't want a job, I want a career. If I can get this one on Thursday then I would finally start to be able to build one for myself.

What career do you want?

I don't spend my whole day wanking, I have a little rest in between each one.

In an office ideally.

I find that a bit sad really. 14 and you ought to be doing things you enjoy.

What makes you think she doesn't enjoy it?

I'd quit trying to get office work if I were you. Know your limits. You're thick as ****, kid.

Stop being lazy cvnt and start applying for warehouse work, labouring, jobs on the bins (pays more than you'd think) etc. Your lack of social graces would be irrelevant, as is the fact you're a hideous little chode.

You might even burn off a few calories while you're at it which certainly wouldn't hurt you.

Sort your ****ing life out Lamby, christ. You were in this position like a year ago hating on the world because they wouldn't sort you out a job.

You're going to be unemployed into your 30s at this rate because of your hypocritical mentality. You can't pick and chose what job you want in your position, you need to understand this. You have zero experience, you need to take what you can get and then think about your future afterwards.

I bet you're still adamant you're not working weekends right? You're closing the door to 99% of jobs actually available to you right now. You aren't getting an office based job, forget it, in your current position you'd be lucky if McDonalds took you on.

Haydos. Its gone to the other extreme now. In that list someone was sanctioned because they applied for three jobs one week and three on the Sunday and Monday. Because the JC week started on a Tuesday they were told they had not applied for any the second week. A little common sense would have shown that the person had applied for enough over the two weeks.

Another was told being at a job interview was not a good enough reason to miss an appointment. another who had taken a job was sanctioned because they did not apply for any jobs while waiting to start the one the had got.

Just crazy.

lol That happened to me a couple of years ago. I'm 18 months into being a digital artworker now, so I can look back and laugh.

Time in an office? Doing what exactly? It's a bit too vague for my liking. Unless you want to work in an office so that you can pretend you're working, that is...

How the **** can't Lamby find a job and just stick to it?

First thing he ought to put on his honest CV: "200x - now: Professional job avoider, for real".

Anyone notice how Lamby's contribution to this thread has dropped of like a cliff once people started telling him some home truths and explaining using simple logic why he's not getting the career he apparently seeks?

Says to me he's blinkered and won't face up to reality, because once someone tells him how it really is, in real life, he shuts up, rather than spouting his excuses.

Or he's signing on, or he's asleep, or he's eating, drinking and wanking.

I was on the dole at the same time as Lamby in December 2012.

Now I work 30 hours a week, study 20 hours a weeks, and still have time to go to the football and keep myself in shape.

Lamby, your excuses are shit mate, pull your finger out your ass and do something about it.

You are the ignorant one. Why do you think people pay their national insurance direct from their wages? No one gives you a pension it's not a benefit , that is why you have to pay into it for thirty years minimum to qualify to receive it. Still you are just a typical left wing ignorant to reality day dreaming socialist.

So in your world of work or starve two options, can you tell me why the third option of living off the back of the workers is acceptable to those that do work ?  What is wrong with the third option of doing what work the government tells you to do in order to get benefits ?

You do know that National Insurance also goes towards job seekers allowance and incapacity benefit?

IT is insurance for when we can't earn a living for whatever reason.

Yeah some people get more out than put in, but that is the nature of insurance, You don't call someone a scrounger if they have contents insurance and get burgled the week after they take it out. Or car insurance and write off their car the day after.

I once got sanctioned as I didn't apply for a job that was working 55 hours a week when I said I'd do at a maximum 40 hours.

Surely if you want a job that much you would take anything? It would look better on a cv and continue looking for something more suited whilst earning?

Unbelievable, out of work and wants a choice! You take your time mate to find the ideal career for yourself whilst living off other people who are prepared to put the effort in

Same old b*llshit.

"I can't find a job"

Which translates to "I wont do a job I don't feel like doing".

And before someone get's on their high horse, I have been out of work before, I got up every day at 4am and made my way into town on foot (6miles) and stood outside the agencies and took ANY work that was available that day, and my god did I get some really shitty jobs.

Since then I worked for 15 long years to build myself a "career". You don't apply for a career, you start at the bottom/study damn hard for a number of years.
