Finnegan Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 ....that was my point? Anyway, great win for us, will enjoy as they're a rarity! Late victory for the Republic too. Sorry, I thought you were implying you had a promising side but would still **** it up.
Asha Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 This is how I see the qualifying going: A: 1st Netherlands, 2nd Czech Republic, 3rd Turkey B: 1st Belgium, 2nd Bosnia, 3rd Wales C: 1st Spain, 2nd Ukraine, 3rd Slovakia D: 1st Germany, 2nd Ireland, 3rd Poland E: 1st Switzerland, 2nd England, 3rd Slovenia F: 1st Greece, 2nd Romania, 3rd Northern Ireland G: 1st Russia, 2nd Sweden, 3rd Montenegro H: 1st Italy, 2nd Croatia, 3rd Bulgaria I: 1st Portugal, 2nd Serbia, 3rd Denmark Haha, Northern Ireland v Wales play-off to reach the finals anyone?

As I've said, we're going to qualify narrowly second just behind Belgium. But I'd take that if I had to.
Asha Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 I can't see it man. But if you're gonna come 3rd and it turns out something like that, I'd favour Wales against all of those sides in 3rd other than Poland.

Poland are shocking, besides a couple of Bayern and Dortmund's finest. And even their big celebs aren't as good as ours on current (or actually any) form. They have more recent history than us but I'd be disappointed if our best eleven lost to theirs right now.
fuchsntf Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Well done to the 2 irish sides, starting their compagnes with away wins. Scots just gone behind, but Germany are not at their best ...yet
PAULCFC Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 If anyone is watching the scotland game on their computer i'd recomend downloading the Acestream app....alot better than flash.
PAULCFC Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Didn't know that Anya was a jock either, assumed he was Italian the same as most of the Watford team last year.
Ross-Kemp Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 3 goals in the first 8 minutes of the 2nd half puts Poland 4 up away at Gilbraltor.
Asha Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 No cutting edge first half but since the break Poland have come out a different team. Two players on a hat-trick now and they're raping Gibraltar. Like, arsehole and everything.
marko Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Excellent stuff from Scotland. Played very well in the second half.
ScouseFox Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 deserved for scotland scenes in that end too
EastNeukFox Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Didn't know that Anya was a jock either, assumed he was Italian the same as most of the Watford team last year. Aye, the wee man was born in Glasgow!
PAULCFC Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Aye, the wee man was born in Glasgow! Learned something today then.....Scotland doing better than i think we'd do against Germany.....oh dear!Germany just scored.
ScouseFox Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Would be incredibly harsh for Scotland to get nothing from this., great performance
Guest Papasmurf Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 It's going off in a minute if those bagpipes don't stop.
Super_horns Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Aye, the wee man was born in Glasgow! That's right.Parents are from Iran and Romania. Went to Granada from the Glenn Hoddle Academy. Usually His finishing is the weakest point of his game. Certainly done well as a team. Fancy Scots for a playoff at least.
Corky Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Strachan has got the Scots really well organised and threatening going forward. The support the UK and Ireland countries have is unreal given the lack of success as a collective.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Wow, didn't know Podolski had 117 caps.
