ScouseFox Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 right, against 10 men and they're minus the captain for a whole half. 4 or 5-0 please chaps.
Finnegan Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 callum chambers couldn't be any more out of his depth. i'd back myself to have a better 50 minutes at right back than he has so far This is what I don't understand about international football. This right here. Callum Chambers plays premiership football every week, you're telling me he's out of his depth playing Estonia? International football is a myth. Teams like Costa Rica did well at the world cup because they put a shift in, they were organized, motivated, ran their bollocks off and actually cared. Not because they were "international class." What does that even mean? It's why our performance at Andorra annoyed the shit out of me. Coleman bringing on defensive midfielders whilst chasing the game because they were "experienced at this level" (what level? it's ****ing Andorra) when he had two or three exciting, young, talented wingers and attacking midfielders sat on the bench.

Dan Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 A) Rooney has got into the positions. No idea if Vardy would at all (not a criticism of your opinion). B) A lot of our creativity has come about because the forwards are keeping the ball and creating chances. I think Vardy would get into those positions. He thrives off it. Second part I do partially agree with.
StanSP Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Why do we not shoot in decent positions?! Always want to take on another player. Lallana is great with his feet and he's a joy to watch on occasion but pull the fvcking trigger sometimes.
Donut Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Surprised Baines and Chambers havent joined in much. Chambers has been poor all round but thought Baines would have more joy down the left.
m4DD0gg Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 England are shit end of, fully expect to qualify then get embarrassed in the tournament itself.
Dan Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 We'll get the breakthrough in the end but to say this is a concerning performance would be an understatement. This has been awful.
Donut Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 I might be the only one to suggest this, but credit to Estonia? OF COURSE we should be winning so dont shoot me down, but good tactial shape and have defended with relative ease
m4DD0gg Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Rooney just can't beat a man can he Its cos of his dodgy cod piece.
foxfanazer Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 I might be the only one to suggest this, but credit to Estonia? OF COURSE we should be winning so dont shoot me down, but good tactial shape and have defended with relative ease Yeah definitelyWe are so shite up front though! Rooney is a passenger and Welbecks one of the most clumsy players I've ever seen
leicesterisme Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Never ever going to happen as he's captain but I'd love us to just try 4 or 5 games without Rooney in the side.
isaidno Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 England are lucky to have an easy group. We'd never qualify if we had the group that Ireland have

That's probably down to the way Estonia have set up. We've gone narrow and they've stopped the supply either going to Baines/Chambers or they've done well in stopping Baines/Chambers progressing to get crosses in.
Raj Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 A tactical masterclass so far. That diamond rotation has been thrilling and world class Wayne has been getting in some superb positions. Very positive all round.
Guest ttfn Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 England are lucky to have an easy group. We'd never qualify if we had the group that Ireland have We finished comfortably above Poland only six months ago. Scotland and Ireland are much worse than us. We'd qualify easily out of any of these groups.
Tuna Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Hodgson out, he's fooking clueless. Tactically inept.
