Dan Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Rooney being undroppable is just a stain on this team.
Guest ttfn Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 I think we're playing alright. Estonia are set up like a better San Marino.
Livid Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Is there anything else on? ITV commentary repeatedly talking this up isn't convincing me.
lgfualol Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Why are England still playing Chambers at RB when you have Clyne
Simmo86 Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Why are England still playing Chambers at RB when you have Clyne Standard England logic
Jimothy Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Why are England still playing Chambers at RB when you have Clyne One plays for Arsenal the other for Southampton, by England logic that mean the Arsenal player starts. Even though they played for the same club last year and Clyne usually kept Chambers out.
Dan Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Why are England still playing Chambers at RB when you have Clyne Guess which one was first choice at Southampton last year. Shit half. Just boring. I prepare to be shot down for my bias but I genuinely think if Vardy was playing instead of Rooney we'd be ahead. Rooney's looked totally off the pace.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Really not convinced by Chambers. Other than that, I think we've looked alright so far against pretty poor opposition. Need to make the difference in quality count in the second half though.
Leicesterpool Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 That Baines booking lol I know and all them two footed challenge's from Estonia and nothing for them. On England I think Rooney is looking too lazy at the moment. Making him captain is making it worst! Something needs to change up front.
Jordan Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 where's sterlingSterling is not in the lineup because he's tired. I don't blame him--watching England in that first half has made me really sleepy, myself.

I prepare to be shot down for my bias but I genuinely think if Vardy was playing instead of Rooney we'd be ahead. Rooney's looked totally off the pace. Vardy would be terrible in a game like this, with a packed defence. There are probably 20 better strikers for a game like this than Vardy. On the counter attack or with a high press, he's one of the best we could select.
Corky Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 I think we're playing alright. Estonia are set up like a better San Marino. This match has been better than the San Marino game, it's not brilliant but there have been some good moments. Rooney should've scored by now.
ScouseFox Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Sterling is not in the lineup because he's tired. I don't blame him--watching England in that first half has made me really sleepy, myself. so he's being rested? bullshit this. so far rodgers has rested him in the league vs aston villa but played him for 120 minutes a week later in the carling cup, and no hodgson has rested him vs estonia but played him vs san marino? why not rest him in the fúcking easy games and play him when he's actually gonna be useful or needed? so dumb. as for the game, been alright. we look good in midfield but rooney's missing everything. welbeck's been anonymous. chambers looks guff. they're shite.
Dan Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Vardy would be terrible in a game like this, with a packed defence. There are probably 20 better strikers for a game like this than Vardy. On the counter attack or with a high press, he's one of the best we could select. But we've had chances. There've been a couple of occasions where Rooney's been played in but he's either mis-controlled it or just not taken it properly in his stride. There have been gaps.
Samilktray Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Dare say Sterling being rested is a Liverpool thing. Hope he leaves them for a big club sometime in the near future.
Leicesterpool Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Welbeck needs to do a bit more to, been very limited from him so far. Of course it would have been interesting to have seen Vardy in a game like this, but of course doesn't play for the right club does he? same for that guy at West Brom.
MooseBreath Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 A tactical masterclass so far. That diamond rotation has been thrilling and world class Wayne has been getting in some superb positions. Very positive all round.
Donut Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Im not sure Vardy would change this game much, chasing into channels and running in behind isnt the deal tonight, no space to do so, were playing in front of them a lot. I dont think weve been that bad personally, were creating opportunities and im sure we will take a couple 2nd half. Im usually Wilshere's biggest critic but hes doing well, Lallana has been decent too.
Guest ttfn Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 But we've had chances. There've been a couple of occasions where Rooney's been played in but he's either mis-controlled it or just not taken it properly in his stride. There have been gaps. A) Rooney has got into the positions. No idea if Vardy would at all (not a criticism of your opinion). B) A lot of our creativity has come about because the forwards are keeping the ball and creating chances.
ScouseFox Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 callum chambers couldn't be any more out of his depth. i'd back myself to have a better 50 minutes at right back than he has so far
Guest Kopfkino Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Chambers is making Glen Johnson look a world class right back
