Mike the Metal Ed Posted 30 August 2014 Share Posted 30 August 2014 Gonna be hammering the phones on 51+ points day to get to this one. Shame it looks like I'll be stuck at that priority level all season.

dimmerchant Posted 3 September 2014 Share Posted 3 September 2014 Sorry to be that guy but do people think this will make 51+ points day? Fairly sure the other games have but imagine demand for this will be quite high. Cheers

Much prefer the freedom you get from the train, especially for a London game!
NZ_Foxile Posted 4 September 2014 Share Posted 4 September 2014 I have points for first priority but can't make this one.... I'm willing to buy a ticket to sell to anyone that wants one. Don't want to give out my reference number, seems a bit risky!

Narborough_fox Posted 4 September 2014 Share Posted 4 September 2014 Going from Rugby... 08:59/10:32 train to Euston is £11. 21:28 train to Rugby is £6. If you're not very good at maths, that's £17 for a return ticket.

Vicki Vixen Posted 4 September 2014 Share Posted 4 September 2014 I don't really get the love in for Palace away. Shit ground, difficult to get to, fickle home fan base. I have watched us play at Selhurst so many times in recent seasons. It's going to the likes of Anfield, St James's etc that I have been waiting 10 years for. Another trip to this shithole is pretty low on my list.

Proper football ground, day on the ale in the big smoke, 20 minutes from Victoria followed by a little walk, ticket prices not out of this world etc.

Harry - LCFC Posted 4 September 2014 Share Posted 4 September 2014 Been to get my ticket, this has sold a lot quicker than Chelsea IMO Not surprised if that's true. Stoke sold out much quicker with a similar allocation. Prices clearly having a big impact.

peterborofox Posted 4 September 2014 Share Posted 4 September 2014 Been there myself. Not great. Much prefer the freedom you get from the train, especially for a London game! Dont generally like trains in and around London just hate London! And cost wise this is cheaper although frustrating! You do what you can for your team though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Don't know for sure, but at 32 quid for adults, and 16 quid for under 18's I very much doubt it making members, I doubt all season tickets holders will get 1.Like has been said cheap tickets, palace is a good day out, demand will be high. billyn88 Posted 5 September 2014 Author Share Posted 5 September 2014 What makes palace good for me is twofold: Good pub potential on the way While the view isn't great, the stand makes it easy to create a good atmosphere, the 2-2 there a couple of seasons ago was top notch. It's not quite as amazing as people make out though, there are some downsides with the journey and the view.
