Makes me think our rivals are sat between posn 8 and 16 in his table

where that thread where we made predictions ?

pretty sure I agree with him on most of this but lcfc in top 10 (esp top 4 n bottom 3)

Did he do that just to please the Villa fans? On 606 he's always on about how they'll get relegated, and this has happened for the past two seasons now.

 

To be fair, that's decent enough. He's got Liverpool top four and I think we all expected Palace to go back down under Holloway.

 

I like Sav, think he's a good pundit. Certainly makes the radio more "interesting" to listen too.

Norwich looked good on paper last year I suppose. They flopped big style.

I don't see them doing as well as last year. I reckon Sawnsea, Newcastle and Southampton will all finish above them to be honest

Hull,West Brom escaped by the skin of their teeth and Palace had an absolute blinder after Pullis took over,so could have been very close with that.

Southampton in for a much tougher test this year without star players, although pelle looks to be a good signing, wouldn't have minded him when we were linked!

I'd say with the form we've shown, 15th would be a nice finish

if feel this is not far from the truth and truly believe we can get that 8th spot come May

 

so Stoke A is the biggest game and test for us so far !

I view everyone except the top 7 from last season as our rivals, anyone of those 13 teams could get relegated and anyone could finish 8th, the second tier of the Prem is going to become like the championship with everyone capable of beating everyone else on their day, one bad run could see you relegated one could run could see you finish top half.

 

One change on or off the pitch could mean the difference between relegation or top half finish.

 

Look at Palace and Sunderland last year, were shocking to start with changed manager and finished comfortable, West Brom chopped and changed and after a good start were lucky to survive, Fulham and Cardiff to also changed managers and got worse.

Totally agree - I like the "mini championship" analogy

that´s basically it - our season begins against stoke

I thinks a good prediction from him though i cants see stoke finishing as high as 8th.

Swansea will finish higher than ninth.

Stoke, QPR, Man United and... To be honest... Probably Leicester will finish below what he's predicted.

Not an awful shout though and I'd snap his hand off for anywhere above 15th
