Clarkielcfc Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 I just don't get why other teams players look so much better than ours, or why whoever does other teams stats, can get away with 'over rating' there players?
jammie82uk Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 I really don't get it. Surely Schlupp would be the highest rated considering he plays as a left back, a left winger and a striker? Giving him decent attributes in all those areas thus giving him a high rating? Some of these ratings are woeful. I'd love to hear what gives someone like Upson a higher rating than Wes Morgan? In agreement with you on this The person/people responsible for our ratings need their heads looking at
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Nah we got downgraded to 4.5* Must of been an update 5* at launch
dave_the_fox Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 In agreement with you on this The person/people responsible for our ratings need their heads looking at Its Ashley about 5 or 6 posts up!!
Buzzell Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Very true think it's something to do with the game engine. FUT rating get lowered IN GAME. You could have a full five star side against my 2.5/3 star side and ratings will be increased for me and decreased for you for a level playing field. FIFA handicap.
jammie82uk Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Its Ashley about 5 or 6 posts up!! Oh is it I will say no more then
Guest kristianity77 Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 FIFA 14 was well known to handicap in FUT. It's most definitely scripted. There are literally endless articles around the net regarding this. All star gold teams hammered by bronze teams whereby the gold team just cannot for love nor money score. All shots ballooning over the bar or wide, or keepers playing out of this world where as the bronze team will score with pretty much every attack.
dmayne7 Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Thankfully you can edit them. I did have a chuckle at Jutkiewicz being rated higher than Vardy Which is only good for kick-off matches. Unless they've changed it, you can't edit their potential so if you put them up on career mode, it ruins it as some players start to go down straight away even if they're 20 or so. Really hope they add the feature to edit potential. Would add a lot of longevity to the game for me.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Is there still no leaked player faces or footage for us yet? I'm itching to see them
Mark_w Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 I'd love to hear what gives someone like Upson a higher rating than Wes Morgan? Leaving aside the obvious 'overall ratings mean nothing' argument. Ashley probably hasn't seen Matthew Upson play, certainly not as much as the person who rated Brighton players last year. He can't lower his rating for the sake of making others our best defenders and he can't improve Wes or Liam's stats just to make them our highest rated defender. It doesn't take a genius to work out that four games isn't enough to get a full grasp on any player, so I doubt Ashley is able to, or would want to, make major changes to any of our signings. And you haven't seen Upson play either. For all you know Upson might be our best defender, he was the heart of the second best defence in the Championship last year, and Brighton fans seem to rate him highly. Nigel thinks he adds to what we've got, so let's not write him off straight away.
crazylegs1984 Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 couldn't give a flying fcuk , that is all
dave_the_fox Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Oh is it I will say no more then Don't worry about it mate, no one else does
Chug Laguna Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Don't care, only play career mode and pick a side that I think would get picked in real life. Moore and Morgan will be in above Upson regardless of ratings. Like a challenge. Some of these are incredibly funny though

MC Prussian Posted 16 September 2014 Author Posted 16 September 2014 Cambiasso a 80? Why? He's been a 78 for a number of years in a Inter Milan side. Not entirely true, his FUT value suddenly dropped from 82 in '13 to 78 in '14. But I agree with the notion that hardly any player warrants a regular upgrade on FUT when they go past the 32-year mark. The vast majority is simply getting older, slower, they lose vision and strength, etc.

GLC Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 It's Ashley, I sincerely hope he doesn't get paid for it, what a joke You can't blame Ashley, i believe everything he submits must go through several people before they're accepted. If Ashley thinks Vardy should have 95 pace for example, he submits it and people review it. if they don't agree they don't change it
AdamN Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 It's Ashley, I sincerely hope he doesn't get paid for it, what a joke He's not responsible for it. He can only advise, and if those above him agree with the changes he proposes, then they'll be altered accordingly. He can't just waltz in and go "WHY AINT KNOCKART 5* SKILLS, I SAW HIM DO A STEPOVER ON SATDEH?!?" and expect our squad to be transformed into world beaters. I've seen him ask people several times for suggestions as to individual stats (that we don't even know yet) to be improved, but nobody has given any concrete evidence as to why they should be. Saying "Schlupp should be higher than a 63" means fuck all. I'm sure he's still pacey and powerful in game, but what else has he (consistently) done for Leicester that warrants an upgrade in other areas? And what evidence does anyone have to support it?
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 It's Ashley, I sincerely hope he doesn't get paid for it, what a joke
Ashley Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 lol lol Next joke? What is to laugh about? Show me hard evidence of Mahrez using four star skills moves in games, I will happily look at him being upgraded. One elastico at Reading away last year simply does not i'm sorry. I really don't get it. See Schlupps matrix comparison on previous page in terms of defending and against other players in the Championship, I feel a little upgrade is needed in tackling nothing more. Please see Mark_W answer regarding Upson. He was one of the Championships best defenders last year, how many times did you watch him play? Stats speak for themselves and Upson was rated high in areas, I haven't touched Upson since him joining Leicester City. I trust the Brighton editors on doing a good enough job, same goes for Albrighton. In agreement with you on this The person/people responsible for our ratings need their heads looking at You really are pathetic when it comes to having sly digs on an internet forum, please sort your self out. If you want to talk about anything feel free to PM me, thanks. Leaving aside the obvious 'overall ratings mean nothing' argument. It's Ashley, I sincerely hope he doesn't get paid for it, what a joke Edit: As of yet, i'm still yet to see anyone that has made a valid argument as to where our players need improving individually, until then OVERALLS MEAN NOTHING.
MrSpaM Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Thankfully you can edit them. I did have a chuckle at Jutkiewicz being rated higher than Vardy You couldn't edit them in fifa 14...
