Guest seanfox778 Posted 29 October 2014 Posted 29 October 2014 It's my mates birthday next week he's 25 and I'm crap at buying gifts. Has anyone seen or know of anything around the £30-£50 mark that would seem a decent present that you would enjoy yourself? I was thinking of something from one of those gadget websites but everything I've seen is lame so far. Thanks if anyone has any ideas.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 29 October 2014 Posted 29 October 2014 Membership to the Foxes Trust!! Unfortunately he's not into our beautiful game. Maybe I could get him a Southampton ticket and drag him up to watch haha.
Nick Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 Does he like rugby? Tigers are doing a man's onesie for 40 quid?!
Rob1742 Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 There is a new "got not got" book out, this time a pure Leicester City version. Think they are about £12. Great present if he is a Leicester fan. Think it is just about released this week? All their books are ace
Captain... Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 I was looking for gifts for my dad, and found this and liked it so much I bought one for me: http://www.firebox.com/product/6636/Cardboard-Smartphone-Projector It's pretty simple and cool and not bad considering it is just a lense in a box, similar idea: http://www.menkind.co.uk/retro-radio?gclid=CjwKEAjww8eiBRCE7qvK9Z7W_DgSJABfOjf23D7h__kB-7IZY__YyioeLrrK9vWM7bd-i3i2afW2BRoCMGLw_wcB Depends if he is into that sort of thing, loads of quirky stuff on Firebox.com if you can't find something on there then there is no hope for you, or him.

Thanks captain. I'm going to blow £16 I haven't really got now.

Guest seanfox778 Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I think I'm going to get this http://www.menkind.co.uk/jellyfish-ocean-world He's not the brightest either so I'll set it up before hand and see how long it takes him to realise they're not real.
SystonFox Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 Get him a chillsner. Basically it's a long icicle that you freeze then put in an open beer bottle and drink through it to keep the beer damme cold as Jean Claude may say! Also it looks like a huge painful ass plug so if he's into that it doubles up!
Rincewind Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 some good things there. USB light bulb and Star wars dressing gown just two.

If he's a bit thick a true friend would get him real ones so he stings himself.

FoxesAreBlue Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 That projector thing looks pretty cool if it works
Captain... Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 That projector thing looks pretty cool if it works It works but it's as you would expect for a cardboard box with a lense in it, if you have the brightness on your phone to max and you have all the lights off and it isn't to far from a plain white wall, and you download an app to flip the screen it's pretty cool.
