Schmeichel; De Laet, Wasilewski, Morgan ©, Schlupp; Cambiasso, James, Drinkwater, King; Vardy, Ulloa.

After the game Pearson said this is our best 11.

Well there you have it guys, Pearson knows his best 11 and it has zero creativity and no attacking threat.

Because we didn't do anything against the second best side in the country?

**** off.

Was there any context to that comment or did he say that in complete isolation? If so it's very odd considering he consistently talks about playing the team which is best suited to win each game. Not exactly great for the confidence of those who aren't playing.

His stubbornness is getting the better of him, reminds me of that nightmare Feb-March 2013. I'm not actually sure of whether he can turn it around this time. My faith in Pearson is starting to dwindle.

No, because it actually has zero creativity and no attacking threat.

By Pearson's logic King has massively improved since last season and Mahrez has massively regressed.

Did he literally say "our best or eleven" full stop, or the eleven he thought was best for this game?

yep he said its our best eleven in training and they were picked based on that.. so yh best 11 full stop

Well there's the context that the OP tactically excluded. Thank you.

He also mentioned that we were in no position to play width with the current state of play? This got me slightly concerned. Surely if you pay £8 million for a tall CF and then bring in a player (Albrighton) who crosses the ball for fun, surely you're asking for trouble by making those claims

That says everything that needs to be said about the last transfer window.

He clearly didn't buy well enough.

Problem in training they are up against even worse players so that just about says it all.

Never mind Pearson the players simply aren't good enough.

The fact that most can't get in the starting line up reinforces this.

If he genuinely thinks that we're done for.

The formation is wrong, the tactics are wrong and the players in that formation and putting those tactics into practice are wrong. I'd have thought there must be at least a 90%+ consensus on that on here.

But the 11 we played today are neither 1) the best players at the club or 2) the best team at the club.

Seems to be the same kind of answers every week of late !

He needs to pull something special out the bag over the next four games otherwise the PEARSON out brigade just might get their wish !!

It's ultimately disappointing because we know we can compete at this level we know we can put on some amazing performances so just what is the problem why are we putting out substandard performances lately I certainly can't put my finger on it but I bloody hope NIGEL PEARSON can sort this slump out sooner rather than later !!

Come on Leicester sort yourselves out lads !!
