Positives.

Schlupp apparently, a good choice at left-backs.

Centre-backs continue to look (apparently) solid.

Not awful defensively.

I can't see today as a positive defensive display.

I can't see today as a positive defensive display.

Thompson on SSN saying how excellent we were defensively for the first hour is what I'm basing it on. Frankly, being undone by a good goal from Long against a top side who have been scoring fairly freely suggests to me that we're relatively solid at the back on the whole.

Our defence was solid until the last 15 minutes. Long did really well with his two goals, although there's an argument that one of the defenders should have closed him down more quickly. And if Wood had taken that chance on 85 minutes...

I'm not disheartened. We've got a couple of winnable games next, preceded by an international break which will allow NP and his staff to work on the players. And most of the results round us when our way. 6 points off 8th place is better than we might have expected, and we are still miles better than the last time we came up.

The only positive I can think of today is F*rest going further and further away from the playoff places.

Think that's it.

Edit: Yup. That's definitely it.

With a victory?

Oh for fvck's sake I just realized they snatched the game.

No positives today then. Goodnight

Our under 18s won 5-0 against Fulham, and are top of their league!

Altogether now,

"They`re top of their league, They`re top of their league

Our under 18s, they`re top of their league"
