Black Friday

I picked up a few bits, mainly what I needed.

Got a £300 Hoover for £100, a coffee machine & steam iron worth £300 for less than £100 and a few presents for Christmas for my lad at less than half price.

Why oh why people were buying 3/4 TVs each last night, I'll never know.

Certainly wouldn't catch me scrapping to buy 3 TVs I don't need lol.

Well the main point question was do I need a 64gb over a 32gb? I shit with stuff like that I dunno what a gb holds or how much that is lol

Obviously the 64gb is double but is a 32 big enough anyway, i'll be keeping photos on it, music, I know it depends on how much of that I put on but still I have no idea.

I'm good at using computers but when it comes to gigabytes, megabytes, ram, 'technical' (It is to me) stuff, not a clue.

Always go for the bigger one if you can, I made that mistake with my last iPod. If it helps I have 5000 songs which is about 40GB...though again it depends on how long, the quality etc. Videos tend to take up a lot of space as well.

I don't really get why people get arrested fighting over bargains, surely you might as well go the whole hog and just rob the store when it's not busy.

Is Black Friday the biggest sale until the next one? Ie Boxing Day, then the New Year etc? Or am I missing summat?

Oh, and the people physically fighting over 'bargains'..get a fookin grip...

If I ever see you in the sale, it's defo gonna kick off, Mrs Col. has requested it

I'd go for 64. I've not filled mine with apps or games and only store some music on it plus a few photos and I am just past or about on 34gb on my iPad. Plus I'm sure I read somewhere that it's best to have some spare memory to enable it to run smoothly. With iPads, without expandable memory I'd go as big as you can afford.

Much appreciated.

John Lewis seem to have Air 2's cheaper than anyone else without any mention of Black Friday so not sure if they are cheaper especially today or whether they are cheaper anyway - I though iPad we a certain amount across the board no matter what shop tbh, also i've seen something about 'Cyber Monday'? Similar to Black Friday but online deals?

Has anybody actually found anything worth getting?

Cyphalis, it's better than getting a tenner off a shit TV they can't sell any other time of the year.

Think its a horrible American tradition that we can do without. Just encourages people to behave like out of control chimps for the sake of saving a few quid. Some of those people should be utterly ashamed of themselves. Great example they are setting to kids.

Watching some of these morons fighting for a fake bargain on the TV ..makes me so depressed that these people are part of the same country as me...where did it all go wrong?

Probably the same bunch of people that mean Ed Sheeran can play 3 nights at Wembley Stadium.

Worrying times.

Picked up a Samsung Galaxy Tab S for £299 from JL.

Was going to get one anyway, but normal retail price is about £80-100 more.

As I work in the UK I don't have the day off.  So I wont be going shopping.  I also didn't have a Thanksgiving dinner, and I wont be developing a taste for piss weak beer and baseball.

I'm with you there, John.

Police called to my stepdaughter's branch of Tesco,  Three people arrested, a smashed tv and a couple of punch ups. All very British!
