Fans tonight

Haven't watched the video, but I'd assume that if he said anything he said it to individual fans who were being twats, rather than to 'our fans'.

By "our fans" I mean people who are sat in blue seats paying for a ticket. I don't consider them real fans if they abuse management like that. They're cvnts and deserve to be told by NP.

I'm surprised if anyone is really offended by this. Ian stringer can suck a lozenge too. Bellend

An elderly fan pointed out a few things wrong with the team, which he was entitled to do. Pearson turns round and tells him to f*** off and called him a cu**. He also told him to not come again, my opinion of Pearson has dropped significantly after that. I wanted him to stay on football terms, but what a tw**

The reaction of the fans in that area and in that video is completely justified. No manager or player should ever talk to a human being like that, let alone an elderly fan.

It wasn't an 'elderly' fan. I was sat behind it all. It was a loud mouth idiot who started dishing it out to Pearson as soon as he came to the touch line

When it's shown in a positive manner, that's great. When it's saying everyone who touches the ball is shit, then their 'passion' is doing nothing but pissing off plenty of people who go to the game to enjoy the football match rather than to listen to 20 odd footballing geniuses explain why Koncheffrsky and that one with the gloves are shit.

Love it  :xmaslaugh:  :xmaslaugh:  :xmaslaugh:

I wouldn't even call them fans.

Yes we're on a terrible run, yes people are disappointed/angry. But I don't know how anyone can stand there and abuse someone like that and then complain when they get a reaction out of him.

That's certainly putting a positive spin on it. Abuse is now not so bad because it's 'passionate'. I don't agree.

I'd describe passion, real passion, as supporting your team and wanting them to win. What we saw tonigh however, is people attacking their team and feeling entitled to see them win. Those two are a considerable distance apart IMO.

Isn't it possible that people are doing both?

You can't expect people not to be human. There are certain fans who sing non-stop for most of the game. Would you deny them a moment of anger?

The players don't really give a shit about the fans, you have to remember that. If we got relegated they'd jump ship if they had the chance to go to a prem club and they don't give a crap if you're skint etc. So why all the sympathy for them?

I do generally agree with the idea of getting behind the team to help them win, but give some people a break, they're pissed off, but they care more than the bloody players.

I've just got back... I was sat in kop and thought the atmosphere was decent. It wasn't the best I have experienced but thought the fans did well considering this poor run and losing.

nigel pearson to me is something like martin keown. they both did positive yet mediocre things for the club and I d/won't associate them with the club when they're gone

Video is off now, what exactly was said by the fan and what did Pearson say in response?

You couldn't really hear Pearson but the fan was complaining about the terrible language Pearson used in between shouting cvnt and willy puller.

Fine, but you don't direct it at anyone. Vent your frustrations on here all you like but the line has been crossed for me when people attack the players and management directly.

Don't agree that they don't care about the club either. They might not love us adoringly but I've seen enough to think they want Leicester City to do well. Behaviour like this won't do anything to strengthen that relationship, mind.

How romantic.

TBF, I don't think they could care less if it's pissing other people off. If you're angry, you're angry. You're not gonna care about some geezer cos he sits near you.

Look, there are fans who are just major arseholes; barely getting behind their team all game yet launching into a tirade of angry rants at the drop of a hat. But, you can't judge everyone like that.

People don't like getting relegated.

As embarrassing as those 'fans' in the video were, I do think it's poor that he did bite back. That isn't a good sign regardless of what you think of those nobheads.

102 points is mediocrity personified, agreed.

Mediocre things? What like getting us promoted from League One in his first year in charge and then up to the PL?

lol

In regards to the general atmopshere, it's a cold Tuesday night.

Midweek night games are always utter shite.

That's one thing I really don't miss about the Championship.

Liverpool 3pm on a Saturday would have been great.

**** Tuesday night games.

I hope these fans were consistent and gave stick and shouted insults at true dross we've suffered like Levein, Kelly, Megson and Holloway when they were in charge of "our club".
