Whilst we're talking about FA conspiracies, did anyone else see Martin Samuel on Sunday Supplement suggest that Leicester's opening fixtures made it look like the FA wanted to relegate them

And on from that, I've just seen a BBC article magically disappear entitled "Pearson asked by FA to explain fan row"

An absolute scandalous decision, on par with that Beckford sending off a few years ago.

The standard of officiating in the prem has been dogshite so far.

I did see this. I'm not sure that was the point. He was just saying that if they did then they'd give us the fixtures we got!

It was a general complaint about fixtures not actually being completely random, with teams at the bottom often facing a run of games against the top sides. He was talking about our start to the season and Southampton's recent fixtures.

In that case he has to show him two yellows.

Really hope that we appeal the violent conduct if that's the case. Can see us going 433 for a few games now he's banned.

Exactly. Claiming it was two bookings was the only way the FA could've defended what happened but that's not the route they've gone for. Konchesky is given a greater punishment for doing less than our opponents. What can you say?

They know they're wrong, but they also know they won't be held to account for it so they can do it anyway.

Surely if they wanted to relegate us they'd have given us them sort of fixtures towards the end of the season.

I remember that red, was it Brighton away?

Was that one rescinded? I can't remember the FA admitting to their mistake on that occasion.

Obviously it got rescinded: it was one of the strangest things I've ever seen on a football pitch.

Konchesky definitely caught him of that there is no doubt but the way Hutton reacted and then Konch came back at him left the ref will little option although I do agree as he was handing red cards both should have had one.

Indiscipline is creeping into Leicester's game I'm afraid with 2 reds in the last 2 games and a plethora of yellows. It doesn't bode well as we need all players available and preferrably with 11 on the pitch at all times.

It is what comes when your players basically aren't good enough and the results get worse. The players try to compensate with aggression or desperation both end up the same way eventually.

You can appeal against a straight red card but not two yellows, no more action will be taken against Hutton as the Ref dealt with it with a yellow card. But again he proved what a poor official he is and why oh why don't the FA start using top European officials in what is supposed to be one of the best leagues in the world...

Ciaran Clark's tackle on Ulloa was dangerous, Ulloa has picked up a minor injury but that challenge could have broken his leg, no card?

Konchesky steps on Huttons heel and Hutton's reaction get's Konch sent off, piss poor ref!!

All that tweet does is confirm that violent conduct was the referees explanation.

Surely under review it will be judged to have been a poor decision and will be overturned.

Still laughable that that is the referee's viewpoint of it. In which case I'd still love to know what the justification is for Hutton's booking.

Me too it's seems he was booking him just for the sake of booking him as he had already put his cards away

I would like to see that the refs conversations are available to the broadcasters like they are in rugby

Yet he was talking about the opening 5 or 6 where we did ok. Not the rest since where we have been gash!!

Konch is a fool, he followed up a yellow card tackle with inyrface provocation as if Hutton was faking it, and I'm delighted he's out the team.

Except Hutton's the one who put his face in. I'd want to see Konch dropped, he's looked suspect at best, but there's no denying that Hutton was the antagonist in this, and Konchesky did nothing wrong in the incident.

Correct decision made and some faith restored in the FA. Even they weren't able to defend a decision that was as obviously wrong as that one.

Good for the team too. Konchesky is a better LB than Schlupp.

So if the are FA saying it was the wrong decision to send us down to 10 men, surely the ref should be punished. Sending Konch off potentially may have cost us a point. Referees must be accountable like everyone else!
