Konchesky's Red Card -Ban overturned

Wasyl wasn't just sucked across, he was on right wing by their box when they broke away.

This! For me Was being up there was the root cause of this goal & I called it before he lost the ball & they broke on us.

I know Matty dropped in to cover but I really don't think our centre back should be there in the first place that late in the game when we're looking to protect a draw. Aside from that error I thought he had a decent game.

Didn't think Albrighton performed at all and wasn't too impressed with Simpson, although it was his first start so shouldn't be judged too harshly.

Liam didn't have a good game either too say the least.

Konch doesn't look fast enough, and neither does Cambiasso who's influence faded enormously from 60 mins or so. Its very noticeable how slow he is when teams break against us.

Nuge had an impact when he came on, but Ulloa seems the only man we have who can actually hold the ball up & find a teammate.

I'm still not convinced by Jeff who seems to lose concentration a lot and just let people drift off him when he's asked to defend.

Mahrez isn't influencing the game enough for me, we're either not getting him on the ball or he's is being defended well. He remains, however, perhaps the single point of real creativity in the side.

Vardy was consistently aggressive & always a threat to defenders, definitely a three weetabix lad.

James has also been consistently good, aside from his shooting. His engine & willingness to cover for others, defensive appetite, and forward support is unmatched in our team at the moment.

We need to add more quality to the team obviously, but the management team also needs to stay in place whatever happens. We are still rebuilding and this won't be an exercise that will be completed in a single transfer window and should be seen as a long term project. Even if the management team have sufficient funds I think we've already seen in the summer that recruiting your targets is not easy, and I don't expect that to change in January when the quality available is often less, competition fiercer, and the costs are greater.

We just need to be better than 3 other teams over the course of this season, and I hope that we are.

Challenge was a yellow, never a red. We would still have lost the game though.

However, with Konch suspended it does give us the opportunity to slot Jeff Schlupp back in at left back where he was very effective at Southampton - in fact one of few positives in that particular game. This in turn gives us the opportunity to bring Albrighton or Knockaert into the starting 11 with all 3 being players large sections of the fans want to see give more pitch time. Konch's red may yet be a positive as imo Schlupp is better at LB and either Albrighton or Knockaert are stronger than Schlupp in left midfield, so we could yet turn it to our advantage.

Thank **** he's gonna miss games. How the **** did we not buy a left back in the summer is mind blowing shit!

Like many others, he was very solid and stepped up at the start of the season. There was no need to buy a new LB following his outstanding performance last season and early season form

I think he booked him for the challenge and the aggressive behavior and instead of 2 yellows just gave him a straight red, Hutton got a yellow for the aggressive behavior obv, shocking refereeing anyway

I thought that, but you can't do that surely. That's the difference between a one match and three match ban. Though I must say, I'd like to think this is one of Konchesky's last games for us. One of many positions we need to strengthen in considerably.

I would rather play with ten men, than have Konch in the side.

We'd rather support a team without planks like you anywhere near it but we don't always get what we want

All he done was stand on Huttons Toe. But he never should have come back to remonstrate with Hutton. But that's all he done wrong. When Hutton got up he was the aggressor. They both should have walked.

In that case he has to show him two yellows.

Really hope that we appeal the violent conduct if that's the case. Can see us going 433 for a few games now he's banned.

Konchesky definitely caught him of that there is no doubt but the way Hutton reacted and then Konch came back at him left the ref will little option although I do agree as he was handing red cards both should have had one.

Indiscipline is creeping into Leicester's game I'm afraid with 2 reds in the last 2 games and a plethora of yellows. It doesn't bode well as we need all players available and preferrably with 11 on the pitch at all times.

Which makes the decision to not send Hutton off even more bizarre. Hutton put his head in to Konch and his arms were higher, Konchesky didn't actually initiate any contact in the incident.

What a shit outcome.

This is ridiculous. Not only does he get sent off for nothing but he then gets a 3 game ban.

I assume we will appeal. Despite the temptation to say "I'm glad he's banned", I genuinely don't want Schlupp at LB. We need a LB in January.

Little option? He had plenty of options: booking a piece (in my eyes the correct decision), red card a piece, send Hutton off and book Konchesky or just tell both players to stop being such petulant idiots and get on with the game.

Dreadful refereeing from a pretty poor referee.

So I wonder when the F.A. are going to announce Hutton's 3 game ban.

Considering that he was the only one who was even moderately violent.

Is anyone even bothered? Look at the plus points.

1. No Konchesky for 3 matches.

2. No Schlupp at left wing for 3 matches as he is moved to a more suitable left back position.

Am I bothered that we've been shafted by the F.A. for doing F.A. yet again. Yes, abso****inglutely.

Why don't the FA just admit they're wrong and not wait for us to appeal and let him off. It's just embarrassing that they can't admit their mistakes. Howard Webb defending every refereeing decision on MNF the other week made me feel sick. Refs have been good overall so far this season and people can understand if mistakes are made occasionally - why don't they just admit it instead of wasting time and money on an appeal which should easily win?

Schlupp gets injured? Then what?

We've known for a while that the FA are prepared to lie in the face of clear evidence to protect their officials. They aren't pro-fairness, they're pro-referee, regardless of the circumstances.
