Konchesky's Red Card -Ban overturned

We better. Hutton 'headbutts' Konch and then Konchesky gets sent off?! Almost more annoying when the ref then only books Hutton meaning he must have spotted something. I guess with the spineless officials that we have these days, the ref would have booked Konch for the scrap even if he had seen Hutton put his head in first, meaning that he would've probably ended up getting 2 yellows anyway.

What was he sent off for - what specific act led to him being sent off? I couldn't see anything.

Also Hutton raised hands and shoved Konchesky in the chest - I have seen players sent off for that and what Hutton did was a bit blatant.

Astonishing refereeing.

Absolutely astonishing.

I'm not quite sure how he worked out that Konchesky should've had a red and Hutton not. The challenge was a yellow card, Hutton's reaction was a yellow card.

anyone got a vine/vid/gif? my wifi went down just before they scored the second and came back just in time to see cambiasso try an overhead kick.

And Hutton blatantly kicked out at Schluup in his back also. Dirty scumbag player. Said in interview afterwards he was a little surprised Konch saw red. Scumbag player

Nah but konch came in on him like jeff did - Hutton got up, nutted him then shoved him away.

Watching it again, it's difficult. Both are at fault. However when heads go in and there is clearly some movement, the ref is going to make a decision. It was either a red for both or a yellow for both. Hutton has got away with that one but when we are chasing the game, konch should have just walked away.

It was arguably a yellow for the challenge, and possibly a further yellow if the referee heard what Konch said and it amounted to unsporting behaviour or whatever, so two yellows in one incident equals a red.

However, I'm pretty sure the original challenge didn't merit a yellow, and the ref didn't know what Konch said, so I don't think he should have got one yellow, never mind a red.

Hutton's shove was a clear a red card as is even possible. So the ref has got three decisions wrong in one incident. Shambolic doesn't even begin to cover it.

He was the reason Hutton scored in the first place, let's not appeal

Hutton was Schlupp's man.

Never was a red, sorry it was for Hutton, ref needs to be brought to task on that performance.

Not making excuses, we lost because we were not good enough.
