ousefox Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 So if the are FA saying it was the wrong decision to send us down to 10 men, surely the ref should be punished. Sending Konch off potentially may have cost us a point. Referees must be accountable like everyone else! :xmaslaugh: good one. Referee's will never be made accountable unfortunately. ****s me off how some refs can't even look at the player when they send them off. Dowd did it a few weeks ago too.
Gary Eatfood Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Konch is a fool, he followed up a yellow card tackle with inyrface provocation as if Hutton was faking it, and I'm delighted he's out the team. Who's the fool?
LcFc_Smiv Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 https://twitter.com/JasonBourne1986/status/541990719310004224 VIOLENT CONDUCT lol lol So Jason, which FA did you speak too....
StanSP Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 So Jason, which FA did you speak too.... At the time of that though, the appeal wasn't put through.
RowlattsFox Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Schlupp to stay at left mid then... It has to be a bad decision for them to overturn it.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Ah my bad, my understanding was that it was a one game suspension unless the appeal failed in which it became 3 game.
VLC86 Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 So Jason, which FA did you speak too.... He meant the Fking A hole AKA Ian Stringer.
Fox92 Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Good. Ridiculous sending off. No questions over the referee as always though.
davieG Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Ban overturned http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/konchesky-ban-lifted-as-dismissal-is-overturned-2133722.aspx
Bert Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Navas is shite anyway.Well over rated. But he's spanish, so in some peoples minds that automatically makes him world class.
Danno Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Well over rated. But he's spanish, so in some peoples minds that automatically makes him world class. He's basically a Spanish version of Antonio Valencia. Can beat his man easily but does absolutely nothing with that and just turns back to pass it to the right back, every time.
foxinsocks Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 So they have realised that the decision to send off Konchesky was billy bollux - yet this devastated a finely balanced game. If such an error was made then what action will now be taken against referee Craig Pawson (yes... it was poor son!) and against the aggressive head butting villa player (clearly the ref missed the attempted head butt so the FA are ok to suspend him)?
jimmeh Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Wouldn't have been overturned if it was rooney or joey barton. Guaranteed

Sending Konch off potentially may have cost us a point. Referees must be accountable like everyone else! Would it fook. That's not slagging Konch off, it's simply saying even if we had 11 men we wouldn't have got a point...if we had 15 men on the pitch at the moment we wouldn't get a point.
inmemoryofdoreen Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Referee was poor in the way he handled to incident, should of been a yellow for both, clark did follow through a bit on ulloa but on balance didn`t deserve anymore than vardy got for his tackle on westwood
ADK Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 We have a pretty decent record at getting reds overturned.
Babylon Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Hang on, I thought we all had "blue tinted specs on" according to some on here. Perhaps the FA have got a pair. Wouldn't have been overturned if it was rooney or joey barton. GuaranteedWell it probably would considering he didn't actually do anything.

RowlattsFox Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Can the ref look at a incident again and decide it wasn't as bad he thought? Can't imagine the FA not backing the ref otherwise.

Yes we are shite, but losing a defender is naturally going to make players more reluctant to attack for fear of the counter. Any chance we had of equalising pretty much went off the field with Konchesky.

Any chance we had of equalising pretty much went off the field with Konchesky. We losing, desperate for any points...I'd rather lose 3-1 than be reluctant to attack in search of an equaliser, yes it might cost us on goal difference come the end of the season but the way we're going we won't have the points to even worry about goal difference. Listen we would not have equalised regardless, it's something that can't be proved either way but i'm very confident we would not have equalised, my point above seems a very honest, valid opinion does it not?
