Guest Bilo Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 The season is as good as over and we need to build for an instant return from the Championship next season. All that, will happen under Pearson is that we will go down with 20 ish points and our confidence wrecked. Time to look forward, not back. We're going down, but let's at least do it with a modicum of pride.
theessexfox Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Ah, a new Pearson Out topic was really missing from this forum.
Vacamion Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I disagree. Changing managers every time it gets tough is a recipe for disaster. We, more than most, should know this.
urban.spaceman Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Seriously, what the bloody hell would that achieve?!

DB11 Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Keeping Pearson would be the best way to get a return from the Championship. The players haven't lost faith they are playing for NP
Kitchandro Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I disagree. Changing managers every time it gets tough is a recipe for disaster. We, more than most, should know this. Erm, in case you haven't noticed, it's already a disaster.
Number 6 Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Yeh there's no way we could possibly make up 4 points in the remaining 23 games. Jesus.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Pearson is a dead man walking I'm afraid.
indierich06 Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Afraid I'm in the out camp now. Something needs to change.
dnewty Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I disagree. Changing managers every time it gets tough is a recipe for disaster. We, more than most, should know this. 10 games is too long
Number 6 Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 The definition of insanity is repeating the season as me thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Pearson is a dead man walking I'm afraid. You mean like changing managers all the time? Yep, insanity.
Brainy Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I hate how people can't say Pearson Out without being accused of not appreciating everything he has done for the club.
Kitchandro Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Keeping Pearson would be the best way to get a return from the Championship. The players haven't lost faith they are playing for NP What difference does it make if we go straight back down again? I can't believe how out of his depth Pearson looks at this level. I don't understand how it's even possible. His job shouldn't have changed that much in the summer.

Kitchandro Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 You mean like changing managers all the time? Yep, insanity. 'All the time'. The last time we changed manager was 2011.
Webbo Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I honestly can't see where the next point is coming from. somethings got to change. If we go down Pearson wont be here next season so all this crap about him taking us straight back up is redundant.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Better to do it now while the gap is 4 points than wait till February when it's 15.
Robin JD Popley Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I know stability has got us where we are and I have been won over by Nigel twice before, but even his most ardent supporter MUST recognise that 2 points in 10 games is as diabolical as our defending. I cannot fault anyone's effort but there is no plan b and unless we make a change soon, we could genuinely fall formidably behind poor squads like Burnley, Hull, WBA and QPR. Most of us were there in League 1 and only but dreamed of a day when we were back in the Premiership; we shouldn't let it pass us by before we've begun.
lestajigs Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I hate how people can't say Pearson Out without being accused of not appreciating everything he has done for the club. He's took the club as far as he can, he just can't cut it in the prem!
Number 6 Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I wasn't referring to us here specifically. But people assume change will always be for the better, which it isn't, as we have experienced.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Don't know how people can start planning our return from the championship. We want results now.
oohaahmustafa Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 'This season is as good as over' Factually incorrect.
Corky Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Depends who the replacement is. Won't be Pulis, we're in a such a rut I think he'll see his record is real jeopardy. We've got possibly the best Championship manager (or at least top three) so anyone lower wouldn't be an improvement. Do the owners go foreign and gamble? Big name or burgeoning reputation? Sadly, I can't see us improving sufficiently under Pearson. I think we're too far gone for that. I won't be calling for his head at the ground or drumming up a campaign to get him out, but I could understand a change now. The replacement is critical though.
