That has to be it. Pearson needs to go.

I'm sorry Mark, you come across as a Nigel fan, rather than a City fan.

If we lose again at Hull, I say again, how can any real LEICESTER CITY fan condone 2 points from 42? That would be embarrassing Mark. Are you not embarassed?

I'm a Nigel fan and a City fan. Why shouldn't I be both when one has spent close to six years improving things for the other? I'm a Martyn Waghorn fan as well, so what? I form attachments to managers and players I like, because I'm a normal football fan, rather than a robot.

I'm not particularly embarrassed, frustrated and disappointed yes, but not embarrassed. I don't think it's been particularly embarrassing, if we were losing by 3 or 4 goals every week, or looking like threatening Derby's record then I'd be embarrassed. But we're not.

You have no right to decide I'm not a Leicester City fan because you disagree with me over who the manager should be, you were thinking exactly the same a year and half ago and you were the one who ended up with egg on your face, so it's amazing that you're once again so confident. It's not my fault that you're short sighted, and it certainly doesn't mean I'm not a Leicester fan.

Agree - I have come to believe that t a move up to PL is a big step for players but a massive one for Mangers. I think it would be pointless to get repromoted with a manager who had shown he couldn't make the step up - it would show we had learnt nothing.

It depends if NP has learnt anything! you would hope he would have, and realise that you have to invest in the team you cannot be sentimental with the players that got you promotion.

nige has a team playing well and now creating chances he cannot be held responsible for the fact that plays miss the chances yes they are his place but you can need a whole store to check on p**** to drink.

EDIT:hmmm... I don't think voice recognition technology is quite there yet ..

How's that work when they won?!

It's a team game, they scored more goals, and they won.

If we were better, we'd have won.

Ohhh I see, that's how it works. How foolish of me.

That's a fair point that you aren't sure NP can produce this performance every week.I believer he can as he did last year, but I can certainly understand your doubts. unlike that tickler poster who is an idiot and thinks changing managers will suddenly make us Southampton! Get a grip.

So I'm an idiot for wanting to change manager? I think you should be careful what you say when the tide is slowly but surely going against the Pearsonites. I don't for one second think we will be Southampton but something has to change and 99 times out of 100 that is the manager. Thank you Nigel you have your £1 mill promotion bonus but now is time to admit you are out of your depth.

Not a very good one, as you only sing when your winning

So I'm not aloud to say anything derogatory about Nigey babe then?

Nope. This is PearsonTalk mate ..... Anything negative about the mighty Championship manager will not be tolerated.

We've got 2 points from 39 for goodness sake ..... That's 2 more than we should be allowed to expect. Some people have such delusions of grandeur!!!

I couldn't disagree more. You say we are bang average, well this is a record breaking championship winning team! Seriously! Burnley were bang average and they are above us... Qpr were worse!!!

There should be no praise at all for the performances, because we are getting no points!

Correct but be honest for this question and the same to many others saying the same.

Did you think after last season we would be so bad did you think a mid table would be about right?

Nige like most thought a couple and a few subs would do it.

Like a few others I got laughed at when saying he was wrong not buying in all first choice players.

Yes I also said Ulloa would not be good enough and yes hands up I got that wrong.

But as much as I thought Nige was wrong in the summer I still think he is our best bet going forward.

As I am sure he will not make the same mistakes again.

How is he out of his depth? Tactically spot on today, over the 90 mins we were better than them....

You noticed the result right? Checked out the league table?

Confident about what? I get your post but what am I meant to be confident about? It's the fact that I'm NOT confident that is the issue. The season is looking like being a monumental cock-up...that's what's embarrassing. Ten years out, to romp the league, to this..that's the embarrassment. And yes, I get where you are coming from. Very upsetting too.

for all this talk about luck I can't help thinking that we might just need a fresh voice and a change of approach

You're confident that we should want Pearson sacked if we lose our next game, so confident that anyone who doesn't agree isn't a 'real' City fan. And you're as wrong as you were a year and a half ago.

In the old days with that sort of run they'd be protests outside and inside the ground! Obviously football has changed a lot but maybe not for the better.

Big Nige seems to be a really quite a nice genuine bloke and a man of integrity.

In all seriousness this run must be really making him question his own abilities.

I'm actually hoping the owners put him out of his misery now .... It's just not going to get any better.

Stop being such a drama queen.

A lot of folk want to pull the trigger,so who do you replace him with? Usually you would have 5 or 6 strong candidates yet bar Pullis I'm struggling.

that's because usually there would have been 4 or 5 sackings by now

No he is actually 100% correct Mark

There would .... I'm astonished at how lowly our expectations are as a set of fans and what we've got used to tolerating.

There's also an inverted snobbery that if you don't accept being hopelessly outclassed week in week out and keep chanting Nige's name then you're not a fan!!!!

I'm finding it quite bizarre.

Well you're on here aren't you? And I'm pretty sure the person who runs the forum is 'Pearson Out'. If you don't like people disagreeing with you then a forum probably isn't the place to be.

A year and a half ago! lol

Things CAN change Mark! Just because a manager finally achieves at Championship level it don't automatically mean he'll do the same at Prem level. Or does it? Genuine question. Do you think it does?
