Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has been charged by The FA in relation to his side’s game against Liverpool on 2 December 2014.

It is alleged that during the fixture Mr Pearson used abusive and/or insulting words towards a spectator.

He has until 6pm on 16 December 2014 to respond to the charge.

Utter joke.

I hope the club make an example out of this "fan" and ban him for life, how on earth does he thinking abusing Pearson and the players is going to help, and credit to Pearson.............

I mean that Touchline ban will really affect him.... ****ing idiots

Umm its pretty evident he was abusive toward a (fvckwit) spectator. The investigation is pretty straightforward. Its just what the punishment will be... 3 weeks out of the stands? :)

Unbelievable.

The 'fan' needs a seriously good kicking if he has the nerve to show up again.

A lifetime ban would be over the top for this 'fan'. But I really wouldn't mind seeing it happen. He's supposed to be supporting Leicester City, regardless of what he thinks of the manager and he's set there verbally abusing OUR manager during a home game. At a time where we were down to 10 men against Liverpool and giving it a real go. It's beyond stupidity and we don't need someone like that in our stadium.

I hope that Pearson will still refuse to apologise for it and I'm sure he will. An admission price shouldn't give people the right to abuse your own manager. Ridiculous.

Well the most they can do is make him sit in the stands, which he does every week anyway

Stadium bans are a possibility- would be ****ing ridiculous though and would only be because he's sitting in the stands already.

I really don’t understand why it’s OK for a fan to verbally abuse Pearson, but Pearson’s response draws a charge from the FA. It’s nonsense.

Racist abuse towards players and managers is, quite rightly, not tolerated.

But why is non-racist abuse acceptable?

Had that fan shouted “You black twat” at a black Manager, then the same response from the manager would certainly not have drawn an FA Charge.

Twat is nothing compared to Fvck off & die, fans shout much worse towards players of all teams & probably don't get a stadium ban, why should this guy get a stadium ban for shouting "twat".

I can remember when Megson had endless abuse shouted at him, much worse than twat and he just took it and didn't respond. Pearson should know better.

Paying customers do not have the right to be abusive towards members of staff, of which both the manager and players are included.

Paying money doesn't give you the right to behave like a ****ing tool

So if somebody you don't know walks into your workplace and calls you a twat you'd just sit there and say nothing?
