Webbo Posted 22 December 2014 Author Posted 22 December 2014 Just done our food shopping as the missus said the carpark was too packed this morning. Only problem was there were only 3 girls on the tills and hardly any of the self service tills were open. Just rewarding myself with a slice of pork pie.

Bellend Sebastian Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Spare a thought for me, I'm at the in laws and although she tries my other half's mum is not the most gifted in the kitchen. I've literally no idea how you change the colour of peas, but it turns out you can. When people have pigs in blankets, do they buy those ready made pathetic little ones or do they buy some nice thick sausages and wrap some proper bacon round them? When I used to cook Christmas dinner for lodgers/housemates, I'd do four of them each. Probably was a bit much on reflection - I have vague memories of us all standing round someone who was struggling to finish it all shouting 'EAT IT, EAT IT'. Happy times.....were just around the corner
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 When people have pigs in blankets, do they buy those ready made pathetic little ones or do they buy some nice thick sausages and wrap some proper bacon round them? My dad has a great strategy - does a tray of sausages and a tray of bacon, you can then construct your own The ready made ones are generally shit, tiny and fashioned from 30% pork sausage and 80% water bacon

It's Christmas, no one wants to be compromising with crap stuff. If I see a Morrisons Savers Christmas pudding in my line of sight like I did last year I'm pulling the f***ing tree down Put a large yuletide log down her u-bend.... that will change the atmosphere in her house.... I'd see that as an endorsement, you can't beat a good post roast dinner movement. Maybe in the bath
