The Doctor Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 It shut down about 5 years ago. You're a moron. Can't be that famous then if it still plays second fiddle to a pub closed 20 years before it. I'd rather not know about one pub than be a complete berk, but you do whatever you want.
Sir Fynwy Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Can't argue with that! Just off Hinckley Road wasn't it. it certainly continued a lot longer than 1989 though. It was open far later than 1989, planning application to change it to flats was in 2012
MC Prussian Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 MC Prussian - it's a famous Leicester pub, fiercely loyal and heavily associated to LCFC. If you were from Leicester you'd know. ADK - Great post. Sometimes these morons need stats spelling out to them. It's very obvious Hamer has out-performed Kasper. The Doctor - Enjoy believing Bert and his glorious sources if it makes you happy, look forward to seeing how Schwarzer gets on against Villa. A famous or rather infamous pub? For someone my age, it's nothing to be fond of or bragging about, that's for sure. I suppose it's had its fair share of knuckle draggers in its history.

Guest Col city fan Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 It was open far later than 1989, planning application to change it to flats was in 2012 Fascinating how some pubs seem to ooze menace. I remember the Blue Moon was one of the boozers on our annual 32 half pint pub crawl. We started off Narborough road, at another rough pub actually (name escapes me), then worked our way round to the Napier, then into Town. That year (prob around 2002/3? There were about 15 of us, all bigger lads, but I tell you what, we couldn't be out of the 'Blue Moon' fast enough!

Think I recall seeing you lot in the Richmond doing that crawl. Fair play.
Stadt Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Next he'll be telling us the Good Neighbours is a site of historical importanceBut there a loyal lcfc pub , took 2buses too away games , u would know m8 if u wear a true lcfc lad .
Unabomber Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Sorry for responding to your question The blue moon, you seem nice though.
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Huntsman is your starting point. Think I recall seeing you lot in the Richmond doing that crawl. Fair play. That's the one. This year, we are doing 16 in Stamford, then jumping on the train to do the final 16 back in Leicester. Just near Valentine's Day. It's always a good laugh but gets harder every year.

Ha, there's still a couple on the Granby Street that haven't been turned into Chinese restaurants or Tesco Express' yet. Dwindling rapidly though :-(

AspectFox Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Bert is a bullshitter . The site is full of them. Oh well, by Tuesday afternoon they will be in double Home Economics! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Jimmy Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 funny how all these newbies are slagging off the old guard, bert has a very good track record often calling transfers weeks before anyone else, but please act like a retard all you like
NeilLCFC Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Bert is a bullshitter Really?! You sound like the bullshitter. Bert has been correct many times and NEVER claims to be itk! Thing is we all crave bits of information about transfers etc but when people actually pass on the info they have they get ripped apart! Newspapers actually make stories up out of nothing but I bet you keep buying them!
Finn Claw II Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 I remember the bar side of the Blue Moon being somewhat intimidating. The lounge side was a bit more bearable. My dad used to drink there. I spent many a evening sitting outside the pub being thrown the occasional pandapop and packet of crisps. Old fashioned parenting - can't beat it!
Simmo86 Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 https://twitter.com/ChelseaFC/status/551805142715355136 Nice of them to spell his name right!
MHC Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Ridiculous how people just believe anything he says despite repeatedly coming out with bullshit isn't it. Bert out! I know your entitled to believe what you like but there's no need to be so disrespectful to the bloke. From what I've read a lot of the guys on here respect his information and that is enough to convince me that he is a good source.
HitchinFox Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Wow. Judging by this thread we must be on a three-game unbeaten run. People seem to get twitchy and eye up fellow forumites when there's nothing else to complain about.

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 I guess that's as good as official, probably just finalising paperwork. Although a bit old (not normally an issue for goalkeepers), despite Hamer's distribution he's a good keeper - will he be bumped to third choice or is it looking that Schmeichel will be out for a long time?
AKCJ Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/players/profile.career-history.html/mark-schwarzer Premier League have updated their profile of him.
PaulW Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Happy to have Mark here - if it eventuates of course. Eventuates!!!!!??????
