westernpark Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Schwarzer will raise standards and expectations for our Goalkeepers.
LCCFox96 Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Schwarzer will raise standards and expectations for our Goalkeepers. This. Hope his experience can really bring something to our goalkeeping department. A solid first signing.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 You dont choose to go from being back up GK at Chelsea to back up GK at Leicester. He will go straight into the team. He might decide to go from being third choice to a contested first/second choice whilst we're a keeper down? Ultimately Hamer plays well enough, he keeps the position.

lcfcsnow Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 I wonder what the oldest back line in premier league history is?
Dickov22 Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 After Hamer's error against Spurs I wouldn't mind Schwarzer starting against the Villa. Huge experience which is something we massively lack
whoareyaaa Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Wait till Konch surprises him with a short back pass. . Solid signing, will bring some much needed experience around the club.
MC Prussian Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/leicester-city-sign-mark-schwarzer-2186274.aspx About 4 days after we all knew Who'll be his shirt sponsor, I guess? The space is up for grabs.Imagine a watch brand - "Schwarzer - when age just don't matter."
Harry - LCFC Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Cambiasso isn't a bums on seats type of guy though, we all knew that. Outfield player. Just not comparable.
Aus Fox Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 A few interesting bits of information: When Schwartzer made his professional debut as a 17 year old in the old NSL: David Pleat was Leicester manager Our heroes where David Kelly, Tommy Wright and a young lad by the name of Steve Walsh. Maggie Thatcher was PM Mahrez, Drinwater James and Schluup was not our midfield as non of them had been born yet.
bovril Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Mahrez, Drinwater James and Schluup was not our midfield as non of them had been born yet. That's no excuse, the lazy showboating fvckers.
phildw Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 How inspiring I'm sure he will save us from relegation single handed.
dedlock Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Cambiasso isn't a bums on seats type of guy though, we all knew that. A solid signing. Designed to let Esteban feel better, when MS arrives in the dressing room & says"hello young man"!
Oadby Fox Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Welcome to Leicester City Football Club Mark, your experience and professionalism will help our cause, good luck for the rest of the season,
yorkie1999 Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Interview on sky, he says NP's looking to bring in more experienced premier league players.
Guest MattP Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Wait till Konch surprises him with a short back pass. An 18 month deal? Looks like he has been signed as a starter.
kingfox Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Wait till Konch surprises him with a short back pass. Nobody is going to top that type of banter this year. Fvckin outrageous.
Moonstomp Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Hamer No 1, Schwartzer back up, Kasper sold ....kerching!
Footballwipe Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Schwarzer is the same age as Zeljko Kalac EDIT: And Mark Bosnich Such staying power
CPW22 Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Any chance that Kaspers rehab is taking longer than first expected so NP wanted more cover?
Guest MattP Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Any chance that Kaspers rehab is taking longer than first expected so NP wanted more cover? I doubt Kasper is out until the start of the 2017-18 season.
Jimmy Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Schwarzer will raise standards and expectations for our Goalkeepers. with any luck he'll take 1 look at Stowell and have a quiet word about how shit a coach he is to NP and we can get someone new in I doubt Kasper is out until the start of the 2017-18 season. Schwarzer probably wanted 18 months to come, doesn't mean Kasper isn't out for longer
