How would a journalist know that though? I mean Pearson isn't the type of person to publicly admit his unhappiness with regards to one of his players, he is very protective of the lads and that is one of his best characteristics. Hamer isn't the reason we lost against Spurs from what I seen.

If I am right, this same journalist got it correct about another player we had on loan who was sent back to their parent club earlier today.

He's Australia's Premier League correspondent, attends hundreds of games, flies out for all the Socceroos games and basically has the best contact list for Australian players over there. He's saying confirmed for 18 months.

When it comes to the insides of the club Bert is one of THE guys, he knows his stuff.

This is definitely just a cover signing, Kasper could easily still be out for a couple of months, and Schwarzer is here just in case something happens to Hamer... I mean... just look at what has happened at Newcastle!
