May not be a bad thing this not going through till next week, hopefully he will be able to train with the rest of the team and get a little bit of understanding with them before being chucked straight in at the deep end v Stoke

Yeah I agree. Think we've looked decent recently so I think we should be ok against villa

Let's hope Stoke are weeing their pants a bit.

After all, no Shaqiri (how would they ever be able to compete with Inter and why would he go to Stoke, anyway?) and the defense now faced with the prospect of having to play against the mighty Andrej?

:D

Shawcross won't know what decade he's in after that game.

It's just shit, like the paper it's printed on, he wil get his work permit, possibly before Villa, if not after, he will be a Leicester player by Stoke.

Inter's got no money. They want Shaqiri but will pay for him in 6 months time if they sell some of their player. Classic Italy.

Kramaric will automatically be denied a work permit as he has only four international caps for Croatia, which means we will have to go to an appeals panel

Getting back to the matter at hand. I don't know if anybody wrote this already but the procedure is as follows.

1.) LCFC will write a formal request to the FA. They will explain why Kramaric should be granted a work permit (for an automatic permit he needs to play 75% of all the national games in the last two years). One of their arguments will surely be that he is currently the hottest young player around, the second scorer only to the fake Ronaldo.

2.) FA will summon a board which will then review and discuss your request and give their verdict.

This all will take a few days and there is praciticaly no chance that Kramaric will play against Villa. On the other hand. there is a 99,99% chance that he will be granted a permit. No need to worry but it's a birocratical thing. It always takes longer than it should.

On the other hand, this might not be a bad thing. It will give him a few extra days to get used to the city, find a flat, meet the squad.

The work permit is a government legislation item. The FA have nothing to do with it.

Everyones worrying too much this is very normal with new signings, deal has been agreed Jose won't come after him now he's a well respected Premier League manager and thats not how they do business don't forget he was crucial to Cambiasso coming here

Yes, you're right facepalm2.gif

Change FA to Home Office or which ever body deals with these matters.

You need to appeal. You appeal wiil be granted.

yeah Mourinho seems to have a lot of respect for us as a club. Either that or he's terrified of Nige

Cut the crap will you. Being an Hajduk supporter myself I never ever loathed against you and personally I am glad for your success.

But this post, besides that is full of lies and myths (like Tito being a Hajduk supporter or that your region is among the prosperous, maybe only recently but for the most time that was Split, Zagreb and even Osijek; Sanader helping Hajduk etc.) shows just why you were never and will not ever be among the popular clubs in the state. You can have all the money you can get, but you will never have more than 3000 people on average per game. You just cannot buy tradition.

Yes, Hajduk has financial difficulties but it is because we never wanted to sell our club to some rich dude to became its personal playtoy (last summer some American wanted to buy it but the fans rejected it), we are and have always been a peoples club. That is something that you can never understand, it is also a reason why you will always be a local club not reaching popularity outside Rijeka and Kvarner (hence even there most of people from Rijeka dont cheer for Rijeka; in your cityI would say 40% are for HNK Rijeka while the rest of 60% are Dinamo and Hajduk fans).

There is also other reasons why you dont get the support of people outside of Rijeka and the media but I will not mention it as is is not of domain of football.

Now, 70% of Hajduks shares are owned by the City of Split while the rest are minor share holders. If last summer a private person like that American brought the most shares as he plannned, Hajduk would become rich but it would loose its popularity and support from its fans. We are operated by the same way as Barcelona FC, in which every member of the club has a vote to elected the Nadzorni odbor (dont know how it is called in English), contrary to you who dont have any voice in the decission making of your club.

In 2008. the only thing that changed is that Hajduk turned from a sports society into a shareholder firm, where the City of Split became the major share holder and Sanader had nothing to do with it.

That is enough for me, and just to clarify I am not writing because of you who got excited as a teen girl who is about to lose her virginity and now deperately post here to have attention ("look guys, see our club how awesome it is"), but to clarify the situation to the foreign readers.

PS. I liked much your rival club from the city HNK Orijent, unfortnately he never got much attention from Rijeka high politics.

PPS. Also the media are saying that mamić got some money from the transfer of Kramarić since he is actually a product of Dinamo (he started there his career and hia hometown is actually Zagreb). Because of close relationships between Rijekas Mišković and Mamić, people are mocking Rijeka by calling it Dinamos feeder club.

Im sure Rijeka arent too worried since now they have a massive following from the Leicester fans from around the world.

We love Rijeka, We do

We love Rijeka, We do

We love Rijeka, We do

Ohh Rijeka we love you.

Hajduk Split, More like Hajduk SHIT AMIRITE LADSSSSSSSSS

No wonder I never got into Australia, I keep sending my work permit application to Harry Kewell.

How was Jose important in the Cambiasso signing?

Apparently it was Villas-Boas that was more important.

It's alright splashing the cash on a striker but there are no guarantees he will keep up his goalscoring record at Leicester. I for one certainly hope he does if and when he arrives. A lot will depend on the service he receives just as it has with Ulloa, Nugent, Vardy & Wood.

Obviously scoring goals will relieve the pressure on our defence which has been under considerable pressure in recent games.

I can’t believe we’ve spent £10m on a player with no pedigree outside of Croatia. The words ‘Ricky van Wolfswinkel’ come to mind.

From what I can see the guy is deadly when unmarked from four yards out. Whoopy-doo. So am I.

Also, is it just me or have we just made a massive improvement from going back to a 4-5-1 or a 4-4-1-1 with Nugent in the hole.

Ulloa is undroppable, and Nugent is back in form. This guy hasn’t come to sit on the bench.

The only way I can see this working is if we’re buying him for next season – but I really doubt that is the case.

We’re going back to a 4-4-2, or we’re dropping Ulloa. Both options fill me with dread.

This is a bad move. The fact that we can’t even get a work permit for the guy just indicates how much we’ve been robbed here.

Seriously cannot see us staying up if we end up putting this guy straight into the team.

Yeah hope you're all right. It's Leicester though so I always fear the worst lol

I'm sure our legal team will find a loophole this deal will still go ahead maybe not for the villa game ( unfortunately) but the Stoke game !

Let's show the lad the superb atmosphere at the KP on Saturday !!
