Here's a fun scenario. It's the last game of the season, it's the last minute, Kram has a chance to win us the game from the spot. If he scores we stay up, if he misses, we're almost certain to go down.

What does he do?

Nugent will take it & score, but penalties don't count remember!!! so we're relegated anyway

Burnley are upset, they think we are breaking the rules again and can't understand why we can spend money when we need to pay a £20m+ FFP fine.

We've been on winter break for 3 weeks. Our last game was on December the 15th. He will be a bit rusty but knowing him (and our coach) he hasn't stopped training. Personally I don't expect him to start vs Villa, but he could play a bit as a sub. I can't wait to see him played beside (or better, a bit behind) Ulloa.

Give him a few games to get to know the squad and he'll start delivering. You've got 18 games to go. I'll say he'll score 6,7 goals. Everything more will be a bonus. Expect him to be one of the best PL player is the following season. In a royal blue shirt, of course.

Since December 15th, we've played 5 games so maybe we could do with some fresh legs. I hope he gets 30 minutes on Saturday.

He played for us both as a lone striker and as a second striker/attacking midfielder in a 4-2-3-1 formation. I believe Pearson will use him just behind Ulloa.

He moves well, understands the game, has a nice shot, not too strong but extremely accurate. He likes too move between opposition lines, often for Rijeka, he would be 30 or 40 meters form the goal, tying up their defensive midfielder and 5 seconds later putting in a simple tap in.

He uses both of his legs well, of course the right is better and his head fairly well. Likes to dribble, sometimes maybe a bit too much. He isn't the quickest and the strongest player so I don't see him as a true forward fighting the strong center backs or as a winger where he was used in the national squad.

In plain Football Manager style, put him just behind a strong target man, give him a free role. And enjoy.

From that description, it's almost as if our scouting team know exactly what they're doing.

i echo this, it's gonna take the guy a bit of time to get used to the premiership and our style of play. i'd be looking to start ulloa and vardy on saturday and bring this guy on after 60

Indeed, will fit in nicely behind Ulloa. Give us two strikers one a poacher another more creative... perfect. Sounds like he is a bit of a playmaker

Thanks to all the Rijeka fans for their information and comments in the previous thread.  This gave us a background to your striker that we wouldn't otherwise have had, and your positivity for his future is commendable.  I hope that he will love playing at Leicester and will be a big success in the Premier League.

It's a long time since I've been in Croatia, in fact the last time was around 20 years ago during the conflict when I was doing some work with a Croatian company.  In fact it was only a few weeks after Croatia had declared its nationhood and had at that time been recognised as an independent nation by Germany and the UK, other countries swiftly followed.  The Croatian people I met then were whole-hearted, hard-working, sincere people whom I liked and I was pleased to be able to work with them.  If Kramaric possesses those qualities together with his footballing talent then we have a great signing.

Thanks to Tripe and the other Rijeka guys.

Looks like he'll be our penalty taker from the get go so I reckon he can get at least 8 goals before the end of the season. Including cup I'll say 10.

Love the way he pulls off defenders and hits the ball first time into the net.

Exciting times at the city.

Come on Krammeh

tripe is actually Steve Walsh.

Agreed though, from the description of him it sounds like the upgrade on Nugent we were hoping for.

We play a 4411, whether this will change now we've lost both wingers to the African Cup or not I don't know

It's quite easy to see him slotting in off the front man... The downside of this is Nugent plays there and while his scoring rate isn't anything mindblowing... his return to fitness & form and the workrate he puts in is contributing to recent improved performances and results

I hope Nige and the boys have seen this, so many of those goals are from the ball being played on the floor in front of him, not to his head, not floaty crosses to the back pass get him running onto the ball and it looks like he will find the net.

Looking forward to this, you don't get many crap Croatian strikers for the National team, this guy could be the real deal.

will he start against villa do we think?

I imagine Nigel will bring him on from the bench at first. We won our last two matches and he doesn't change a winning team much.
