Ric Flair Posted 16 January 2015 Posted 16 January 2015 I doubt he'll start purely because Nugent has been in relatively good form of late except some horrific finishing against Villa. He'll get 25-30 mins which is more than enough for a hat-trick.
Robin JD Popley Posted 16 January 2015 Posted 16 January 2015 They tried to make him sign for Chelsea, but he said, no - no - no. He came to Leicester, we made it better - saying yes - yes - yes!He plays in attack, so defence's watch your backs...Our goalscoring Croat - Andrej Kramaric. (in the style of Amy Winehouse - 'Rehab). WELCOME TO LEICESTER ANDREJ.

SecretPro Posted 16 January 2015 Posted 16 January 2015 I think 100% start Kram tomorrow. Anybody saying otherwise is deluded. a. We have paid £9m for him for a reason. b. Stoke is again a MASSIVE game - we HAVE to win. best chance of that is with the second most proific striker of the year in the starting line up c. Nugent has bagged 2 goals all season? OK, so he's playing OK at the minute - OK DOES NOT = WINS, OK DOES NOT = GOALS, GOALS WIN GAMES. d. All this 'not a good message to Nugent' if we start Kram nonsense - Think the message to Nugent was loud and clear when we spent £9m on a new striker. e. The 'let him get upto speed' argument - best way for him to get up to speed is to play football. f. If we don't play Kram tomorrow and we lose then **** ALL OF YOU.
Kitchandro Posted 16 January 2015 Posted 16 January 2015 I wonder what time you have to get up to get a photo with no tramps or pigeons??? 'Generic our city is a shithole comment'
ozleicester Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Starts, scores after 50 mins, taken off at 64 mins

Just on C - Nugents role isn't a goal scoring one, it's a link player one - after 18 months do people still not get that? However, he's been training and with the club for a week, it's not like throwing in a midday Friday signing into the Saturday starting lineup.
volpeazzurro Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 I very much doubt he will start tomorrow. I think it's sending the wrong message to Nuge and Ulloa who despite a few misses have been playing well recently. To displace one of them with a chap that hasn't fully trained, and isn't 100% match sharp, a day after he has signed is kinda telling whoever is dropped they aren't good enough. However, 30 mins from the bench at the end depending on how the game is going would help towards his match fitness, and also give him a chance to come on fresh against tiring defenders. Additionally it fires Ulloa and Nuge up to perform in the meantime. I also think that despite the fact Villa were crap and we only won 1-0, we created so many good chances last week, as near as you can (injuries aside) to an unchanged team is what is called for. Stoke are also very physical so probably a game to suit Ulloa, especially defensively from set pieces and Nugent who is used to the Prem rather than give a debut to a not fully match sharp young foreign striker who's main weakness is said to be physicality and of whom the fans expect as many goals on his debut as the number on the back of his shirt Surely that's precisely why we've bought him, Nugent is nowhere near good enough!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Starts scores an hat trick, and taken off in the 53rd minute to stop the Stoke defence getting even more embarrassed.

FoxSince88 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Don't believe all this "he hasn't been training" Since he agreed to join he has trained everyday!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Don't believe all this "he hasn't been training" Since he agreed to join he has trained everyday! Indeed, there were pictures of him clearly training
yorkie1999 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 So much pressure on this lad already! I just hope he plays well otherwise he'll get crucified on here. Which means jack shit in the real world.
ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Nugents been playing well, but he isn't taking a good percentage of his chances. Start the new lad, why wouldn't you? That's what we paid all that money for.I don't think given our current position, we have time to fanny about bedding him in. Throw him straight in against shawcross and let's see how good he is!

I like the idea but not sure throwing our most exciting signing for years up against the dirtiest cvnt in the league, would be a good idea. On the other hand he might really show shawcross for what he is
BlueJoe Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Soooo excited to sit in the Kop today and see him play.... Well I was until I saw that the "faithful" have chosen a stupid Agadoo remix for his chant!!! #unimaginitive #stolen #getsomeoriginality
LCCFox96 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Think he'll play a role off the bench today. Nugent played well against Villa and looked dangerous if not clinical. Hopefully the signing of Kramaric will spur him on that bit further and he'll take a chance or two today. Here's to hoping Kramaric takes his debut and the premiership in his stride. Excited to see this guy play after all the build up to the transfer.

DB11 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Who is deluded? He isn't saying that he thinks Kramaric will start. He is saying that in his opinion Kramaric should start.
