We don't need a winger Col, we need a CM. I was desperately hoping that we would show some ambition this window and sign Jack Cork, at 25 he's still young, good tackler, can finish too, at £3m Swansea have a bargain, what our strategy is I really don't know.

I think we'd benefit from both buddy.

And you're right..what is our strategy?

I wonder why you don't know our strategy. Is it because you don't work for the club negotiating deals? How do you know we didn't try to get Jack Cork? If you were him, would you rather go to us or Swansea at the minute?

How about at the start of every window our manager comes out and gives all of his targets so we know what's happening. Highly likely to happen eh!

If we make a bid and it gets rejected, reliable journos find out, we haven't had any news like that all month. In fact, they've said themselves that it's really quiet. On Jack Cork, he's been reluctant to sign a deal at Southampton for several months now. In the space of 4 days, Swansea bid and signed him, we've had all month. I'm not saying he would've joined but there's no harm in trying to be ambitious. We haven't even been linked with 1 LB this month, anyone with half a footballing brain knows Konchesky is not PL quality, but apparently we tried to sign Naughton, a RB instead.

Why did we sign Albrighton if Pearson would rather play an out of form striker on the wing instead? If we missed out on Cresswell in the summer why didn't we move for anyone else then and in this window? Why are we starting King, a player who couldn't get into our side in the Championship, ahead of a fit Hammond and Cambiasso?

I agree with not needing a winger. Albrighton looked positive yesterday when coming on, - why he didn't start instead of playing Vardy out of position on the right baffles me a little bit to be honest - Mahrez and Schlupp have been good this season and we all know what Knockaert can do with a run in the team. That with a promising youngster in Tom Lawrence in the squad as well. Our frailties lie at CM, CB and LB. I'm not sure selling Vardy helps that in anyway. We need to add, not trim players from the squad.

So why did we start with King, rather than a fit Hammond and Cambiasso?

Been asked already but nobody has answered, or like me are we all completely baffled by team selection at the moment!!

Continuity? that's a suggestion not an answer.

Offer them Nugent for £2.5m instead.

Bargain. :unsure::crylaugh:

Think you need to look at how many times Nugent has played when we gain points .and he done far more in the time he was on the pitch on Saturday than the £18 million plus players that started the match . also kept procession that led to the goal city scored ....look at the bigger picture ......

We play faster football when Nugent is on the pitch, rather than the so-called 'pacey' Vardy, Nugent enables more from other players than Vardy does & he's been a lot better for us since returning from injury than Ulloa, Kramerac & Vardy added together

After Saturday's performance, if anyone was to offer a bag of Salt & Vinegar for Vardy, I'd snap their hands off and drive him there myself

yous lot havin a go at vardy should be ashamed wouldnt be here withot him

It's exactly that kind of nostalgic thinking which is a likely factor as to why we're struggling.
