Keep him, you don't sell your quickest player if you want to improve

(edit: Just remembered we sold Lloyd Dyer)

Nugent is terrible guys, anyone who thinks he is a good striker in the Prem needs their head testing.

He isn't playing as a striker ffs.

you clearly know absolutely bugger all about football.

Keep Vardy. He is needed to stretch their defence when we are needing to defend. We may also need him next year if we are relegated.

Nugent has been great, but is not the future that we need. Still a role this season though.

It looks like Wood may be on his way though.

6 assists and 1 goal that's more assists than any other player. Yes two of those were the penatlys against utd but he was the only who got in to them positions in the first place and people want to sell him!

Weren't 4 assists and the goal all against United?

If so 2 assists over the rest of the season is a very poor return.

The problem with city fans is players get slagged off very easy.

Also one good season they are gods and a cult figure to some.

Players that run all day get mega status.

Vardy struggled first season with the step up and I thought he would again this season.

Yes he may step up next season but he may be a step to far for him.

Yet one assist all season for Nugent who doesn't play as a striker is perfectly fine.....

I didn't say that and I think we need better strikers than both Vardy and Nugent and yes I'm aware that Nugent isn't playing as an out and out striker.

Personally I wouldn't sell him, not because I think that he is worth more than £5m but because there is no point in decreasing our attacking options while simultaneously strengthening a direct relegation rivals.

Vardy has not looked up to the standard so far in terms of his finishing and direct influence on goals scored and this was especially evident during our shit run when he was starting a lot of games. However since Ulloa and Nugent have been back playing together I think Vardy offers a great deal coming off the bench around the 70th minute mark, when the game is stretched and like on Saturday the opposition are trying to score (I say trying - Villa were doggo). He will work tirelessly and run both channels and do the work of two men. Therefore we should keep him and utilise his strengths, I think with the signing of Kramaric who will hopefully be our most natural goalscorer we can afford to use Vardy in the tireless unselfish sub capacity.

Should definitely keep Vardy - think he is a great sub to terrorise defences for the last 10 minutes with his pace.

I think the question is whether Vardy is happy doing that though

I think he has the determination to do so? He got slated the first year he came year and admitted he nearly quit and then look what happened. He will come through this and score some important goals!

I thought that then he was awful on Saturday against a Villa defence who terrorised every time we ran at them prior to Vardy coming on.

Teams have got him sussed, he won't scare anyone again this season unless he ups his game, which I don't think he can do, he peaked last season and I don't think he's good enough for this level.

Would love to be proved wrong.

yes they were but whatever way you want to look at it he still has more than anyone else. What where would we be if he didn't do that?

Don't think Vards is going anywhere,

Went by Belvoir drive and he was training.

Absentees included wood and Moore although they were involved in u21 fixture yesterday

The United game was a fluke both in the way we were allowed to play and the result, he should be judged over the rest of his games this season and at the moment he doesn't deserve to be played.

same as Nugent then only 1 assist 2 goals. We've nobody that can put the other team under pressure like he does. And them assist will still be there at the at the end of the season which ever way you look at it.

I keep shouting for Vardy to be brought on with 15 minutes to go in games...

... but I've learned that all he does is run directly in to defenders and lose the ball, or give silly free kicks away.

Unfortunately assists are likely to still read 6 at the end of the season.

He hasn't come on from the bench and terrorised anyone all season.

He relies on defenders making mistakes that they simply don't make at this level.

When he's hot, any defence in the world would struggle to cope with him. His pace, strength and work ethic combined means he's influential even when he's having a bad game. He is very one dimensional in what he does, but so is Antonio Valencia and look where he is playing. I believe he can adapt his game to this league, and maybe he will never be good enough to play as a striker but I rate him to play as a inside forward or a left winger.

5M lol if Ross Mccormack is worth 11M then Vardy is worth 20M, especially to a relegation rival. I know the figure I suggested seems ludicrous but in this market, under these circumstances it is a reasonable price. After all, English players are massively overpriced regardless of ability or lack of it.
