Tuna Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Posh chairman MacAnthony has gone nuts on twitter, check it out before he deletes it! https://twitter.com/dmac102
Matt Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Darragh MacAnthony @DMAC102 · 3 hrs 3 hours ago 3. P..d off that a player of Joe Newells ability can miss an open goal from 5 yards out early on. He should be scoring 10/15 a season. I can relate to that change the players name to David Nugent and open goal to tap in and you're about there. Thought his misses was gonna cost us today, luckily it didn't.
Corky Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Don't see why he should delete it, he's put his money in and wants and expects better. Good on him for not brushing things under the carpet and letting the fans know his true feelings.
One Legged Beaver Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Saw that in a bbc article earlier, just madness
MC Prussian Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I don't see the point in it. If you want to criticize your team or blast individual performances, why doing it in public? He may have every right to have a direct go at his players for lack of skill or dedication in the dressing room or within the club's facilities, breaking it via Twitter is a bit of a no-no.
Fox92 Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 You don't do it in public, especially on social media. It's not professional
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Not first time he has done it. Don't particularly like him but has put a lot of money in and Posh are shit. Should be at least in top six of that league
Guest Bilo Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Unprofessional perhaps but none of us have put millions of pounds into a football club to end up midtable in League One.

Then he clearly hasn't signed the right players and to a certain extent must've made bad management decisions. Surely, he's part of the rot? We tend to say "the fish stinks from top to bottom".
Corky Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I think he wants to sack Ferguson but got burnt last time, went through several managers in a limp relegation and turned back to Fergie, so he's probably worried that history could repeat. But last season they were not great for a top six side (finished 11 points behind fifth and lost 18 matches) and now are in mid-table with a very favourable budget at that level.
darko2k7 Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I wonder how he'd feel if a one of his players did the same on social media. would he let that slide , i guess he'd have to now or be made to look a total hypocrite.

Raj Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 What a gypomulti millionaire football club owner Gypo!!!!
LanguedocFox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 I think he wants to sack Ferguson but got burnt last time, went through several managers in a limp relegation and turned back to Fergie, so he's probably worried that history could repeat. He's going to find out whether it will I found this bizarre (it's from the BBC website): "In Darragh MacAnthony's statement on Saturday night, he hailed Ferguson as one of the greatest managers that Posh have ever had - when you consider he won three promotions and a Johnstone's Paint Trophy, it's tough to argue with that assessment."
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Players have definitely let him down imo. Should always be a top 8 team at that level not struggling in mid table in a poor league
bovril Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Never has a club been so inappropriately nicknamed.
Danno Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Anyone heard about them not being paid yet for Assombolonga?
